Chapter 28

Sunday
Mackenzies POV

I opened my eyes and looked up to see Sammy sound asleep under me. His messy hair and his little snores made me smile. As much as I tried to get up from bed my legs were still sore. So I just watched Sammy sleep for a while.

Soon Sammy started to stretch out his arms until he realized that I was still propped under his arm.

"Hey beautiful, how are you feeling?" he said still half asleep.

"Good" I put my chin up to his chest.

"Did you sleep good?" he smirked.

"Haha, very funny" I smiled. Sammy reached down and pressed his lips on mine.

"Are you hungry?" Sammy swung his legs over the bed and grabbed one of the blankets with him since he was still naked.

"Mhm"

I remained in bed for a while longer while Sammy changed in the bathroom. When he came out I was still wrapped in the thin bed sheet. Sammy came around to the bed and sat down on the edge next to me.

"What do you want for breakfast?" his little smile appeared on his face.

"Anything" I pulled the blanket up to my face and covered my nose and mouth.

"You look so cute, you know that" he smirked. I hid myself under the blanket and felt my cheeks burning under the sheet.

"Why are you hiding from me?" Sammy tried to rip the blanket off of me but I kept pulling it over me. He then went from trying to take my blanket off to tickling me which was my real weakness.

"Sammy, stop!" I resurfaced and tried pushing his hands away while laughing.

"Alright fine" Sammy raised his hands in the air and got up. When he got to the kitchen I grabbed my bag and the blanket around me and walked to the bathroom.

I took a quick five minute shower and then changed into a pair of tights and a t-shirt Arabella packed me. I grabbed some makeup wipes and cleaned off everything and then I put my hair into a messy bun.

As I walked out of the bathroom Sammy was cooking and the one thing that stood out to me was that he wasn't wearing a shirt. Everything on his back was so toned and delicately fixed on him. I joined him next to the stove and when he caught sight of me he put his arm over my shoulders.

I just watched Sammy continue on cooking but non of us said a word. It was dead silent for most of the time.

"Why are you so quiet?" Sammy ran his finger on my shoulder.

"I don't know... it feels sort of awkward" I said shyly. Sammy chuckled and then kissed me.

"It's not awkward your just making it awkward" he chuckled again and kissed my cheek.

"I'm sorry" I pouted.

"Why don't we eat breakfast and then go for a walk or a hike?"

I agreed. I ate breakfast while sitting on Sammy's lap and then we changed into warmer clothes to go out.

I put on my sweatshirt on top of my tank and then my Nike sneakers.

Sammy locked his fingers with mine as we started walking through the woods around us.

"So what are you planning to do for college?" Sammy looked me in the eye as we walked deeper in the woods.

"I'm not sure. I really never thought too much about it"

"Your top ranked in your classes Mac how have you not thought about college?"

"I don't know. I don't want to leave home"

"Babe, if you have a chance to do good in school why don't you take it?"

"I'd miss you guys all too much"

"I'm always going to be here no matter what. You know what let's not talk about that. Let's talk about us right now"

"I like that idea"

Sammy leaned down again and kissed me slowly.

"Your so perfect" he said and pushed a piece of hair out of my face. I smiled and gave him another kiss. How was I supposed to leave Sammy? How was I going to say goodbye?

Arabella's POV

"Come me here Shadow" I patted the bed next to me for Shadow to play on. He furled around on my pillow and then he tried to ran off down the stairs when the doorbell rang.

"I'm home!" Mackenzie yelled.

I shot up from my bed and ran down the stairs as fast as possible.

"Hey Bella" she smiled when I got to the door.

"So how did things go?" I didn't bother hesitating to ask.

"Good" she put her bag down on the floor.

"Anything worth telling?"

"Really Bella?" she crossed her arms and smiled.

"I'm just asking"

"I don't kiss and tell" she sarcastically said and walked upstairs to her room.

I chased after her and ran into her room.

"So you two did have sex then?" I jumped up and down.

"Arabella shut up" she brought a finger to her mouth.

"It's okay moms sleeping, but tell me did you?"

"I'm not saying"

"Mackenzie I know you" I squinted my eyes.

"Will you shut up if I answer you"

I nodded my head fast and waited for her to answer.

"Then yes we did" she said and a smile spread across her face.

"YEEEEESSSSSSS!" I ran around in circles.

"Now can I get some rest" she sat down on the edge of her bed.

"Awe did Sammy tire you out?" I winked and as she grabbed a pillow to throw at me I ran out the door laughing.

"Where did you guys go anyways?" I asked and popped my head back in her room.

"A cabin in the woods"

"Lucky, Jack took me to the crappy arcade for our one year"

"Wasn't that sophomore year"

"Yeah and then he bought me chocolate and a ugly teddy bear. Still have it tho"

"Aww" she laughed and brought her hand up to her mouth to cover her laughter. I noticed the shiny ring on her finger in a matter of seconds.

"Don't tell me Sammy bought you this?" I grabbed her hand and looked at the ring.

"He did"

She smiled and I could tell she was happy which made me happy.

"Jack needs to be more like Sammy sometimes. Maybe a little less dirty and more romantic"

"He did get you Shadow"

"True that"
