The next day
Arabella's POV

After the 9th period bell rang I was dying to grab my stuff and run out of school. But one thing caught my attention. Mackenzie had just gotten to her locker and Sammy was at his locker. That's not the point. The point was that after Sammy closed his locker, he went down the stairs and left. My point being he didn't even stop by Mackenzie's locker like he does every single day after school.

I slowly made my way to Mackenzie's locker to see if everything was okay.

"Kenzie"

"Yes Bella" she smiled and continued on packing.

"So I noticed Sammy just left, does he have plans?"

"I'm not sure, I think he does"

"Did he say bye or at least give you a kiss before he left?"

"No"

"But he always does" I frown in confusion.

"I guess he ran off in a hurry" she shrugged and closed her locker.

"Well can I get a ride then?" I asked in a funny way.

"Yeah but where is your car?"

"Jack gave me a ride this morning"

"Ohh, so how have you guys been doing? I noticed how you ignored him during history"

"Honestly I feel like we're just sleeping around"

"That kind of sucks"

"Not really" I smirked.

"Arabella, stop it we are still on school grounds" Mackenzie playfully slapped my shoulder.

"What, I'm just stating the facts" I raised my hands as if surrendering.

Half way home my mom called me.

"Arabella, I'm at the hair salon, why don't you and Mackenzie come down here. I know how bad you two have been wanting to dye your hair"

"Yeah we will be down in a minute" I jumped up and down in my seat so excited.

I hung up the phone and screamed nearly to the point where Mackenzie had to stop the car before getting us both killed.

"You want to go get your hair dyed?" I asked.

"You serious" Kenzie's eyes widened with me.

"Yeah, drive!" I slapped the dashboard.

It only took us ten minutes to get down to the hair salon. Inside I found my mom sitting in the back with her head in the sink where the lady was washing her hair.

"Ma, we're here" I walked back to where my mom was.

"Lizzy this is my daughter, Arabella and my niece, Mackenzie" my mom spoke to the blonde lady who was working behind her.

"Wow, you two are so big. I remember seeing you two a few years ago."

"Yep, Freshman year" Mackenzie added.
