Chapter 11

Saturday
Arabella's POV

I heard a small ringing under my pillow. The vibration annoyed me even more.

I opened my eyes and my room was pitch black still. I looked at my alarm clock on my desk and the time read 2:04am. AM? Really?

I quickly grabbed my phone under my pillow and squinted my eyes to read who on earth was trying to call me at this time.

Jack. Go figure.

"What do you want? Jack, It's two in the morning?" I was still withdrawn from the world.

"Come outside"

"Jack I'm sleeping"

"Your awake right now so come out"

He hung up the phone just before I could argue with him. I lazily dragged myself out of bed an made my way down the stairs trying not to wake up Kenzie or my mom. I was really lazy actually because I walked down without a bra and my stained pajama shirt.

When I opened the front door Jack was standing in front of his car in the driveway. I looked at his car and Johnson waving hi to me, was also half asleep on the passenger side.

"What are you doing here?" I said before yawning into my arm.

"I had to say bye before I leave"

"Leave where Jack?" I said annoyed.

"I will be back Sunday night"

"Where are you going?"

"I'll see you Sunday"

He walked up to me and leaned in to give me a kiss but I put up my arm and blocked him.

"Jack, where are you going?"

"I will explain on Monday but I have to go"

"Or you can explain now" I said and Johnson from the car honked the horn.

"I have to go" Jack turned and jogged to his car. No kiss, no hug.

Either I was sleep walking or Jack was actually leaving. Me and my half asleep body walked back up to my room and knocked out as soon as I got to my bed.

It didn't seem like I got much sleep because a while later I heard some ruckus in my room. When I opened my eyes I was hit with a beam of sunlight. I then looked at my alarm clock and it read 11:23.

I turned my body and found Kenzie leaning on my desk.

"How are you feeling?" she sat up when she saw I was awake.

"Fine, why?" I stretched my arms out.

"Because I saw you talking to Jack this morning. I didn't know he already told you about it"

"What exactly are we talking about?"

"I didn't know Jack told you about Magcon"

"Wait, what?"

Mackenzie's eyes widened like she had just seen a ghost.

"The little sucker didn't tell you" she slammed her hand on the table.

"Can you explain to me what's going on?" I asked but Mackenzie just walked out of the room.

I ran to the door and just as she walked into her room I yelled down the hall.

"I'M SICK AND TIRED OF ALL YOU LITTLE BITCHES HIDING THINGS FROM ME UGH"

I slammed my door just as Mackenzie closed her door. I went to my side of the bathroom that was linked to Mackenzie's room and locked it so she couldn't get into my room from the bathroom.
