Chapter 29

Tuesday
Arabella's POV

During the beginning of fourth period Jack and I were hiding out near the locker room.

"I need to go change" I laughed trying to push my way past him.

"Or you can change in front of me" he whispered in my ear and kissed my jaw, making his way down to my neck.

"Jack I told you not here" I backed off and scanned around the area to make sure no one was around.

"Fine but you owe me one" he said to me as I walked off. I went into the girls locker room and changed my clothes and joined the rest of the class on the field.

I ran my lap and sat myself on the side and watched Jack run his two laps. Jack walked next to me just as we walked inside the gym to set up our volleyball games. We joined one of the better teams and passed the ball around as a warm up.

"I heard what happened with Mackenzie and Sammy on Saturday" Jack raised his thick eyebrows.

"Ohh you saw the ring, isn't it pretty!Maybe you should take a few notes" I smirked.

"I wasn't talking about that. I heard that the son of a bitch got laid" Jack hit the ball to one of the other kids.

"Ohh yeah they finally lost their V-cards" I whispered.

"Well with each other at least"

"What?"

"It was Sammy's first time with Mackenzie"

"It was Sammy's first time over all"

"No it wasn't"

I gave Jack the death stare.

"He's had sex before?" I aggressively hit the ball to another kid on my team.

"Yeah he fucked with Hanna before they broke up"

"Wait! So your telling me Sammy had sex with Hannah"

"I mean yeah but that was freshmen year in the back of a car, they still fucked tho"

"So he wasn't a virgin?"

"It doesn't matter because Sammy and Mackenzie weren't dating"

I was so pissed but confused that I was spiking balls down on the other team when we started playing.

"Ara calm down!" Jack gave me a confused look. Once the class finished I rushed down to the locker room and changed. I waited my the gym door for the bell to ring but I was really aggravated.

"It's not a big deal" Jack whispered in my ear rubbing my shoulders.

"It kind of is a big deal if Mackenzie doesn't know about it"

"I'm sure she knows. Come on you don't want to ruin his birthday tomorrow"

"The last thing I need is Mackenzie to get hurt so if I ruin his birthday I don't give a shit"

I rushed out of the gym with the swarm of kids and left Jack behind. At this point I had no idea what was going on.

Mackenzies POV

"What time can I come over tomorrow then?" I asked Sammy as he packed up his book bag.

"Anytime you want"

"Do you really have to skip school tomorrow. Why can't you go Thursday or Friday. Out of all days you have to not come on your birthday"

"I know and I'm sorry but it's important and you know I wouldn't be doing it unless it wasn't important" Sammy closed his locker and stared at me. I made a little sad face and he smiled.

"I can't believe your turning eighteen" I leaned my cheek on his locker. He pushed my hair behind my ear and kissed me.

"I have to go but I will call you" he let go of my cheek and kissed me again.

"Bye"

After Sammy walked off Arabella came to me.

"I was thinking we get food" she suggested.

"Sounds perfect right about now"

We walked out to our cars and got in. I followed her through town until we got to The Cafè.

"Coffee?" I asked as I walked to the counter.

"Yup"

I ordered and grabbed our iced coffees and walked to the table Bella grabbed for us.

"So what are you doing for Sammy's birthday tomorrow?" she slurped from her cup.

"Nothing major. Maybe just stay home and watch movies. Plus we have the party Saturday"

"That's right, the surprise party is on Saturday" her eyes rolled around.

"I don't think he knows anything about it so that's good"

"Yup Sammy is sure going to be surprised at what comes to him"
