~Chanelle P.O.V.~

I got the text from Arlie, so I dropped the boys off but I still needed to get a few things from the store.

"Do you mind if we quickly get a few things?" I asked Crystal who was looking out the window.

"I don't mind." She smiled. I am going be straight up with y'all. Yeah I was kinda jealous of her, she had Arls. You know I got some special feelings for him but regardless I am still more happy for them than I am jealous.

We pulled up to Wal-Mart, and got a cart.

"So what do you need?" She asked

"Ummm I need to get applesauce for Ty. I should probably get the cat a harness, cause knowing Trey he's going to end up taking the cat outside." I laughed

"Aww, hey I'll get the applesauce and on the way back I'll pick up a harness." She laughed

"red harness please!" I yelled after her. I pushed the cart to the baby section. I know I am way early but since I'm at the store I might as well get a few things for the new born.

"Um excuse me but are you Chanelle?" I turned around and saw a girl that looked my age and surprisingly familiar with a little boy who looked about 5 or 6, She looked too familiar but I just couldn't put my finger on who she was or where I had seen her before. It was that feeling like you had done something with that person at some point but the name and face just couldn't match in your head.

"Um yes, why?" She was tan skinned, black curly hair that was down to her elbows, and brown eyes. I didn't get a good look at the boy cause he hid behind the girls leg.

"Oh well I'm Leah, and I heard about you through the hood." She said with a look of guilt on her face

"Oh, Hi." I said kinda awkwardly. Her name kinda ringed a bell but not enough to spark that connection. Why the hell can't I remember? I'm usually so good matching names and faces.

"I just wanted to say I'm sorry, If I had known Lexis was in a relationship I would have ever got with him at that party." Her eyes showed she was being truthful.

"Don't even worry about it, Lexis and I got over it. I'm not mad, but thank you for apologizing." I gave her a small smile and leaned in for a hug.

"Can I get your number? You seem really nice and I heard you had kids too, so I was thinking maybe we could have a play date for em?" She asked

"Sure." I handed her my phone and she handed me hers, I put mine is as did she.

Talk about weird? I didn't think much of it. I waited in the pet aisle for Crystal. I picked out the harness and it looked so cute, I bet Trey will be so happy to see this on Tom and when I tell him he can take the cat outside.

"Hey I got he applesauce but I didn't know how much you wanted so I just grabbed 2 jars." She said as she walked up to me

"That's fine, lets go. I wanna go on our double date." I smiled. I couldn't wait to go. Lexis and I haven't been on a double date in what seems like ages so this was going to be fun, especially with Crystal and Arlie.

We walked up to the self check out cash register since the lines were so long and we were kind of in a hurry.

"You know how to work this?" I asked Crystal as I started to push buttons

"Nope." She laughed

"oh shit, I think I messed it up. Why isn't it scanning" I laughed along with her
