~Arlie P.O.V.~

"Heather, you and I both know that we can't ever be in a relationship again. We fight, yell, scream at each other and then you start to become physical. You know I don't ever put hands on a female but you and I are like fire and gunpowder." Her eyes only expressed sadness.

"I want us to work together so we can be that complete family for Nicole. I don't understand why we can't at least try" Does she seriously not remember the last damn time we "tried" being together?

"Heather, last time we tried being together it was after you had Nicole. We tried out the relationship and you just up and left. Plus I already know you like the back of my hand. You will be the perfect girlfriend for the first month then you will go around hooking up with other guys. You know its true. I love you and always will but we have a dangerous love." It was a cycle and I was tired of giving her my heart just to have her throw it away.

"Arlie please. Can we just try one more time?" She scooted closer to me in her chair. I could feel her breath on the side of my cheek.

"No. We can be friends and be there for Nicole, but you still need to show me you changed. Back up a lil please." I asked. She scrunched up her face and stood up.

"You are fucking ridiculous Arlie! I come here to try to fix our family and you just don't even care. Is there someone else?" A tear broke free and rolled down her cheek. Was there someone else? Yes there was but I could never actually be with her.

"There is, but it would never happen with us. I am not going to deal with your little games. I've learned my lesson with you." I said it calmly. Heather also had anger issues, I don't get why I fell head over heels for her back in the day.

"Fuck you Arlie." She turned around and walked back to her car. I just watched as she flipped me off and sped off.

Just like old times.

~Lexis P.O.V.~
~The Next Day~

Today was my baby Ty's 4th birthday. I can't believe he is already 4.

Last night the girls were all decorating the house and setting up for the BBQ that we were having today. Javier convinced me to confess all my secrets tonight. I was scared like you wouldn't believe. We already weren't together, I just hope she doesn't walk out on the friendship.

"Lexis, can you get the boys ready? I need to go fix up a few things!" I heard Nelle yell from downstairs. I walked into Ty's room and saw all 3 boys sitting on the floor giggling.

"Happy Birthday Ty!" I picked him up and gave him kisses all over his chubby cheek

"Daddy no more kisses! I'm a big boy now" He whined as he squirmed around in my arms

"Boy, you ain't grown. You're only 4 years old I will give you kisses till you move out." I laughed. "Let's get all a y'all dressed." I said as I set Ty back down. Trey and DeShawn walked back to their rooms to change. "You want to dress yourself today?" I asked

"Yes! Now go Daddy!" He was pushing against my legs. I laughed to myself and walked out. My phone was going off so I jogged to my room and swiped the screen not really caring to see who was calling me.

Me: Wassup?

Me: The fuck is this?
???: It's Leah
Me: So you now decide to call huh?
Leah:I got a new phone. My old phone broke. Is DeShawn okay?
Me: Ight and Yeah he's great. He's been like another son to Nelle. It-
Leah: I don't want Nelle taking my place as his mother.
Me: Drop the attitude Leah. She isn't she's just been treatin him well and givin him love like a real mother does.
Leah: The fuck you talking about? Don't be bashing me as a mother, you weren't even in his life-
Me: You didn't tell me you were pregnant! How the fuck was I supposed to take care of my son, if the mother didn't tell me he was mine?
Leah: If you were just being loyal to your girlfriend at the time, we wouldn't be here
Me: Don't you even bring that shit up.
Leah: Why not? You knew what you were doing. I didn't know you had a girlfriend who was pregnant with your child. Your not-so-slick ass didn't tell me anything. As far as I knew you were just hookin up for a good time.
Me: Leah, drop it. What the fuck you want?
Leah: I want my son.
Me: Why? You let him get abused by that Daniel guy of a boyfriend you got. Fuck no.
Leah: Lexis I want my son now. You don't get a say because you don't have any legal rights over him.
Me: Leah he has problems because of you not bein a good mom
Leah: He is fine -
Me: Fine? He is so damn scared about everything! We finally got him to be trusting and in you come demanding him back? Just so he can collapse back into his fear? Hell no.
Leah: Lexis this is the last time I'm going to say this. Meet me at Starbucks with my son in 30.If not I'm calling the cops. I want my son back.
