A Thug's Love Never Dies: Chapter 24

~Lexis P.O.V.~ 

I woke up to feelin heavy breathing on my face. I slowly opened my eyes and saw Ty sitting on my chest face to face.

"Mornin Ty." I laughed and reached up and gave him a kiss

"Morning Daddy!" He smiled and crawled off my chest. I looked around and saw everyone else still asleep. I was assuming  Ty was hungry so I walked to the kitchen and put some waffles in the microwave for him.

"Aye Lexis, your phone been vibratin like crazy." I heard Alvaro say as he woke up.

"Is it a text or somethin?" I put Ty's cup of apple juice on the table while the waffles were still cooking. He hopped onto the chair and carefully brought the cup to his face.

"Yeah from Arls." He said as he picked up my phone

"You can read it, I don't care." I said as I leaned up against the counter. At first I didn't think it was weird that he texted me but now that I thought about it, why would he text me. I looked in the living room and didn't see Arls or Nelle. I thought Nelle was probably feeding King or something. The microwave beeped and I put the plate in front of Ty.

"Thanks Daddy" He smiled before taking a bite

"Welcome Ty-"

"Man, I think we need to go outside for this one." Alvaro said. His eyes went wide and I could hear a little tremble in his voice. I nodded my head and we walked out back.

"What is it? Is he okay?" I asked

"Do you want to read it yourself or do you want me to tell you what he said?" He didn't take his eyes away from my phone.

"I'll just read it." He handed me my phone

"But man, this is bad." He gulped and let go of my phone. I flipped the phone so it was right side up...

"What the fuck! I knew Leah was going to pull this shit!" I was shaking. I wanted to just kill something!

"But it aint true right? Man you only got Trey and Ty!" Alvaro said, he had his hands on my shoulders tryin to restrain me. "Nelle your ride or die. she ain't finna leave you if that other kid is yours" He said as he looked in my eyes.

"Man you ont get it. This shit hits home for her. That's why her dad wasn't in her life. He had another kid with some other chick and he left Nelle. That's why Nelle hates her dad, he chose that other kid over her. She didn't ever want her kids to have to live with the guilt that they weren't good enough. I'm fucked man. I truly am." There was no way this was happening.

"Just chill, you and Nelle needa just talk to Leah, get a paternity test and take it from there. Don't start makin assumptions and shit. Alright Nelle left for the night, so what, let her cool off. I bet that sure as hell ain't nothin someone can take lightly." He said as he pat my back. He was right but damn why the fuck broads gotta do this?

"Alright man" I choked out

"Just take one thing at a time. Don't do anything till Nelle get back. I think we should just keep this between us, Arls, Nelle, and Leah. They're the only ones who know and its best to keep it that way. I'll even stay with you till Nelle get's back and help with the boys if you need it." He offered

"Thanks man, and yeah just keep it on the low." I walked back inside. Everyone was still asleep and Ty was finished with his waffles and juice.

I sat at the kitchen table and thought to myself, what was I going to do if I was the father of Leah's baby?
