~Chanelle P.O.V.~

Just to clarify, Arlie and I haven't slept with each other. That day when we were on his bed we only made out and felt each other up, nothing else. I swear.

After Alvaro's twins were born, which by the way was the cutest thing ever. They were adorable and seeing Alvaro holding Dante reminded me of when Lexis first held Trey. It brought a tear to my eye because that was such a beautiful moment.

"You okay?" Arlie asked as he snapped me out of my memories. We were in the car on the way home from the hospital.

"Yeah, I'm fine" I gave him a weak smile. He pulled over to the side and took the key out of the ignition. "What are you doing?"

"Tell me what's wrong" He was looking at me with eyes that only made me spill out the truth

"To be honest, I kind of miss Lexis." I sighed. I was still pissed and hurt beyond belief but deep down I did miss him.

"Don't be upset. I had a feeling you would be. I feel that way towards Heather all the time." This was what I hated. There were two guys. You had Arlie, he was so sweet, voice of reason, always understanding, listens to all sides of the story before putting in his judgment. Then you had Lexis, soft heart, thug exterior, sensitive, loving, playful, an ear when you need him.

"You're not-"

"Why else would I put off sleeping with you? I knew you would miss him at some point and I didn't want to sleep with you so you would carry the burden of not being faithful to Lexis. I know you're his ride or die. You always will be, you just reached your breaking point. All you needed to do was pick up your pieces. You picked up your pieces and now you miss him. I understand that" He wiped away a stray tear that escaped my eyes and pulled me into a hug.

"I'm so happy with you though." I said into the crook of his neck. He gently rubbed my back

"You're only saying that because he was with Leah. You love him and you know it. We have like a flirtation-ship, but we aren't meant to be anything else."

"But-"

"I'm going to take you to Lexis' house and you two are going to actually talk. Not point out each other's wrongs and spit em at each other, okay?" I nodded my head and he let me go. Why the fuck does he have to be right about everything? Why can't he be wrong just this once?

~20 Minutes Later~

We pulled up to the drive way and got out. Arlie waited for me at the door before we walked in.

"Lexis? Man where are you?" Arlie called as he closed the door behind me.

"In the kitchen gettin the kids a snack!" He yelled. I felt nervous to be here with Arlie.

"Nelle here!" Arlie said with a lil laugh as he looked at me.

"She is?" Lexis came walking around the corner. He looked at me with shock then looked at Arlie with a warm welcoming smile.

"Ight, well y'alls need to talk. I'm goin home. I'll have Varo drive your car to your Moms" Arlie gave me a hug, dapped Lexis then walked out.

"So what's up ma?" He smirked at me. Is he really calling me ma? I'm still pissed at him.

"Wipe that smirk off, and it's Nelle." I said with a little laugh.

"What? I can't smirk? But real talk what's up?" His eyes had the life put back into them when he completely looked at me from head to toe.
