~Arlie P.O.V.~

I don't hate Lexis or nothing, but I didn't think he would fuck up like this. He was being young and stupid at the time, we all were at some point in our lives and it just took him a little longer to figure out his priorities. It's sad to see their relationship crumble but Nelle still standing by his side and helping him.

I was laying around on the couch just relaxing. That's all I've been doing lately. Ever since Chewy's joy ride killing spree the cops have been out a lot more so the gang activity amongst most gangs is at a stop till the cops tone it down. My phone vibrated so I'm guessing it was a text cause it only vibrated once.

*Text*

Heather: Hey Arlie, I wanted to tell you that I just got out of rehab and I'm clean. I wanted to know if I could please come by and see Nicole. I realized my mistakes and I have my life finally on track.

What the fuck?

Me: Really now? I have to see it to believe it before I even let you near Nicole. She ain't even with me, she's with my mom in Europe.

Heather: Well then let me come by so you can see how much I've cleaned up.

Me: Ight fine, you know where I am

Heather: I'm 10 minutes away

Me: alright

*End Of Text Convo*

I bet she did get  cleaned up maybe turned her life around but I know she will only keep that up for a little while then fall right back to where she was. It would be nice if she proved me wrong and really did change her life around. Nicole asks about her mother all the time and I don't keep secrets from her, I told her, her mom went away to get better and hopefully she would come back. It would be so nice if Heather could be a part of Nicole's life.

I changed into black jeans, a grey hoodie and stayed in my socks. I ran down the stairs and grabbed my snapback off the end table next to the couch. I went out and sat on the porch waitin for her to pull up. I know what my entertainment for the day was going to be.

~Chanelle P.O.V.~

I opened my eyes to see DeShawn's big green eyes staring at me. I don't know where he gets his bright green eyes from. Leah has brown eyes and Lexis had his greenish hazel eyes. Maybe its like a recessive gene or something. It was still cute to wake up to those eyes

"Good Morning DeShawn, did you sleep good?" I sat up and rubbed my eyes

"Morning, yes I did. Did you?" He sat up too and rubbed his eyes just like I did. I laughed to myself

"Yes I did, lets go get Trey and Ty so we can eat breakfast." I slipped out of bed and put on my slippers. DeShawn was already out of the room. I walked to Ty's room to see him sitting at the edge of his bed. "Good Morning Ty" I smiled at him and picked him up

"Good Morning Mommy" He squealed with happiness. I walked into Trey's room and he was knocked out. Tom was sleeping curled up in the crook of his neck. DeShawn's eyes lit up when he laid eyes on the cat.

"Kitty! Can I touch it!" He exclaimed

"When Trey wakes up you can ask him, but for now we will get you two fed since you're both up." I lead DeShawn out of Trey's room and closed the door. Lexis' door was still closed so I assumed he was still asleep.

I put Ty in one of the chairs at the table while DeShawn sat at another chair at the table. I was going to make them scrambled eggs and toast so I walked to fridge, got out the eggs and cracked them so the yolks dropped into the bowl. As I was scrambling the eggs in the bowl I heard Lexis come walking downstairs.
