"Zach...? Zach!" Josh shouted over the phone. Fear was creeping to his very core, and many horrifying scenarios kept on playing inside his head. With his hands trembling and his heart pounding so strongly, Josh rushed to his car.

He doesn't know where he is going exactly, but he would die of anxiousness if he stayed there and wait for the worst to come. Josh was desperate, he called Jamie and Naomi to tell them both what happened.

Jamie was a lot calmer than Naomi – maybe because he already had his suspicion when he learned that Josh's father was missing and saw that Zach wasn't in Josh's apartment –, but still, behind his calm voice, Josh could feel the worry and fright. Naomi, was in panic, and even though it was already late at night, she ran out of her apartment to look for Zach.

Many dreadful thoughts invaded Josh's mind. He hated himself for thinking those things, but there was nothing he can do to get rid of those thoughts. Josh was getting more desperate by the second, he kept on repeating on his head Zach's words before the line was cut.

Josh was reaching his limit, he was going to explode at any moment, but then his phone started ringing again. Zach's name registered on the screen. He should've been happy to see that Zach was finally calling him, but for some reason, Josh felt really nervous, he felt very suspicious.

With his hand trembling, Josh took the phone and answered Zach's call. "Hello... Zach..." Josh said slowly.

At the other end of the line, Josh heard a chuckle. It wasn't Zach's usual teasing or cheerful chuckle. It was very devious, very menacing for some reason. "Shouldn't you be happy to receive this call? I'm sure, by now you're trembling in worry." Although the voice was familiar, the manner of speech was very different.

Whenever Zach would speak, you could hear his confidence and carefree attitude, and when he is acting shy, you could hear his innocence in his voice. That voice over line, though, sounded very unnerving. Josh could feel the malice behind it.

"Where are you...?" Josh asked slowly and carefully.

"I could tell, that you already know that I am not entirely Zach. Don't worry, Zach would be fine after all this." The voice chuckled. "As for father... I cannot promise anything at all." He added.

Josh's heart almost stopped. Although he already had his suspicion, hearing it first hand was still different. "Where is he? What are you planning?"

"You already know. I am planning on taking back what was stolen from Zeke."

"No... You can't do that..." Josh's voice trembled in fear.

"I haven't done anything yet, so don't fret. You see, I'm lacking audience, and it wouldn't be fun if your mother isn't here to watch." The violent alter added. "I want here to see everything, I want to see her trembling in fear and begging for mercy. I want her to suffer. The best way to do that is to make her watch." The alter said.

"Zach please, wake up. Fight him, I know you are..."

"Shut up. Or I might change my mind and send your father's heart in a box instead." Josh fell silent in fear. "I'm going to text you the address, be there with your mother within an hour with no police anywhere near." Then the alter hanged the phone again.

Josh was hanging onto the last straw. If anything bad happened to his dad, Zach would be the one paying for it. Zach wouldn't be able to handle the pain of knowing that one of his alter did something so horrible, it might cause him to lose his mind entirely.
