14 INT. XAVIOR'S SCHOOL (STORM'S ROOM) - DAY
[STORM finishes adjusting the last of her uniform (fiddling with her cape). PRO.X knocks at her door]
STORM: Oh, hello Professor.
PRO.X: Hello, Ororo
[Awkward silence]
STORM: Can I help you, Professor.
PRO.X: Ah, in a way. Listen, Ororo, I don't think you should go on this mission.
STORM: What? Why?
PRO.X: Well... I just don't think the team really needs you... for this mission, besides I will need someone to stay here and help run the school.
STORM: Professor. I have known you long enough to know when you are lying, now tell me the truth.
PRO.X: In my vision, I saw you and you were upset... Well, you were very upset, I think, and you were holding flowers... Ororo, if you go on this mission, someone might die.
STORM: Oh... So your saying I'm some kind of bad luck charm or something?
PRO.X: What? No! I'm just saying that maybe you should sit this one out.
STORM: (thinks for a moment) No.
PRO.X: What?
STROM: I'm going on this mission. If saving the world from a reality-warping, Omega-Level mutant, means one of us will die then I know for a fact that everyone on the X-men is prepared to make that sacrifice- including me.
[STORM exits]
PRO.X: Ororo, wait!
[BEAST & PHOENIX enter]
PHOENIX: You could have handled that better!
BEAST: Way better.
[PRO.X sighs and exits]
