28 EXT. WOODS - DAY
[BL.PANTHER helps STORM walk through the woods. STORM is still weak]
BL.PANTHER: (stops walking) Maybe we should rest.
STROM: Nonsense. Resting will only slow us down.
BL.PANTHER: And if we do not rest, then you will die from exhaustion and blood loss.
[STORM stops walking and nearly collapses but BL.PANTHER catches her and gently lays her down]
BL.PANTHER: Rest. The world can wait.
[STORM slowly falls asleep in BL.PANTHER's arms. MYSTIQUE secretly watches from a distance and changes into Wanda. As Wanda, MYSTIQUE approaches BL.PANTHER from behind. BL.PANTHER hears her and turns around in a battle stance but relaxes when he sees that it's Wanda]
BL.PANTHER: Wanda? Where have you been? Where is Vision and Scott?
['Wanda' curiously looks down at the sleeping STORM]
BL.PANTHER: It is alright. She is no harm.
['Wanda' walks towards BL.PANTHER and places her hands in his head]
BL.PANTHER: Wanda? Wha-
[BL.PANTHER's eyes roll to the back of his head and falls unconscious. 'Wanda' pulls out a knife and goes to stab BL.PANTHER but is shot. As she is lying on the ground, she changes back to MYSTIQUE and looks disbelievingly up at her shooter. (*Only see his shadow*)]

29 INT. XAVIOR'S SCHOOL (PRO.X OFFICE) - DAY
[PRO.X, BEAST, CYCLOPS & PHOENIX sit/stand in PRO.X's office]
PHONIX: Any luck?
PRO.X: Unfortunately, even with Cerebro I have been unsuccessful in locating Ororo.
CYCLOPS: What's blocking the connection?
BEAST: Well, several factors could contribute to blocking the connection... another telepath, for example, or the subject may be in a coma, unconscious or dead...ah...
CYCLOPS: (pause) You don't think Ororo's dead, do you?
PRO.X: Right now? It's hard to say but it's best if we all stay optimistic-
[Enter ROGUE]
ROGUE: Professor- they're awake!
