18        EXT. LOKI'S BASE - DAY

[Avengers pull up outside Loki's secret base. Walk up to front door. Enter THOR]

THOR: Ah, Man of Iron, fellow Avneges- I am here!

IRON MAN: ...okay... Who wants to ring the door bell?

[IRON MAN & CAP.AMERICA do paper scissors rock. BL.WIDOW pushes through and rings the door bell. HAWKEYE opens the door]

BL.WIDOW: Hey, Clint- so we got a mission, you coming?

IRON MAN: What do you mean; 'Are you coming?' Of course he's coming. Come on, let's go.

[IRON MAN turns to leave]

LOKI: WAIT. (Opens door with a smile but it falls when he sees the Avengers) W- wait- (pause) HOW are YOU here?!

THOR: BROTHER! (Tries to hug Loki but is pushed away)

IRON MAN: We (BL.WIDOW elbows IRON MAN in stomach) I put a tracking device on Barton.

[LOKI is frustrated, groans, and stomps his foot]

CAP.AMERICA: We need Clint.

LOKI: Ha. Well you can't have him.

ANTMAN: Why not?

LOKI: Who is that?

THOR: That is the Man of Ants!

[ANTMAN goes to correct him but BL.WIDOW shakes her head]

LOKI: Wait, wait! You let an Man of Ants on your team?

IRON MAN: (pause) Yeah?

LOKI: And what can he do; talk to ants? (laughs)

ANTMAN: As a matter of fact...

[LOKI starts iching uncontrollably]

LOKI: Hawkeye! Make it stop! (HAWKEYE does nothing) HAWKEYE!

[BL.PABTHER creeps up behind LOKI and holds a knife to his throat]

BL.PANTHER: You will give us the Hawkeye.

LOKI: NEVER! (BL.PANTHER starts choking LOKI) Okay. OKAY! Have the damn bird!

[BL.PANTHER stops choking LOKI and pushes him to the floor. Ants stop]

BL.WIDOW: Come on Clint.

[BL.WIDOW, HAWKEYE exit- followed by BL.PANTHER & ANTMAN]

IRON MAN: Wow. That was probable the second coolest thing I'd ever seen! Ever!

CAP.AMERICA: Second?

IRON MAN: (starts walking with CAP.AMERICA) Yeah, well, nothing can beat that one time the Hulk beat him to a pulp!

[IRON MAN & CAP.AMERICA exit]

LOKI: What are you looking at?

[SC.WITCH looks questioningly at VISION & THOR. SC.WITCH then starts moving forwards to brainwash LOKI. LOKI scrambles back- afraid]

VISION: Wanda! No, no, no- come on, let's go.

[VISION guides SC.WITCH away]

LOKI: (mutters) Puny mortals.

[THOR lends LOKI a hand to get up but LOKI shoves it away]

THOR: You know, thee would never be in such a mess, had thee not tried to kill the All-Father!

[LOKI brushes his coat clean]

LOKI: Yeah, well, we can't all be the golden son, can we?

[THOR goes to speak but a car horn beeps]

IRON MAN: Come on Thor- let's go!

[LOKI turns to go back inside but THOR catches his hand. THOR hugs LOKI. THOR exits]

LOKI: J-just bring Hawkeye back when your done!

Cut to:
