Stay With Me

Chapter 7

It was her last day. Yesterday, she hung out with the girls and she had a lot of fun. And today? She was going to go on one last mission with Natsu. Just Natsu. No one else.

She walked out of her apartment and started for the guild. She couldn't help but feel depressed. She knew she wasn't going to see them for a long time, and that upset her. Who did this guy think he was anyways?

She was feeling multiple emotions right now; sadness, anger, depression, fear, disgust. She hated the situation.

Lucy was planning on telling Natsu she was pregnant during the mission before she left, but thought better of it. She didn't want to tell him and then break his heart by leaving. Plus, if she tells him and leaves, he'll just look for her, and if he finds her...

Lucy squeezed her head. She didn't want to think about what would happen to them if he found her. Even if she didn't tell him and he still looked for her, he wouldn't look as hard as he would if he knew she was pregnant. It would be less of a risk if he didn't know.

She was knocked out of her thoughts as she placed her foot on the first step of the guild. Her stomach turned as she looked up. 'Here goes nothing' she thought. She pushed open the doors and greeted everyone as she walked in. A smile crossed her face as everyone greeted her back. Man, she was going to miss them...

As she walked toward the bar and she saw Natsu and Gray getting heated.

"WHAT DID YOU SAY FLAME BREATH?!" Gray yelled angrily.

Before they could start any serious argument, Lucy stepped up. "Natsu." She said, catching his attention. He turned his head and when he saw it was her, he smiled. His smile pained her because it was one of the things she was going to miss the most.

"Yo, Luce!" He exclaimed, and started walking toward her right when Gray threw a punch. He missed though and fell flat on the floor. Natsu stopped right in front of her and then asked, "What's up?"

"H-hey." She studdered. "Do you want to go on a mission today?"

Delight immediately crossed his features. "Of course! I'll go get Happy!" He turned around but before he could go anywhere, Lucy grabbed his arm.

"Actually, Natsu, I kinda wanted to just go with you." She said hopefully.

He gave her a questioning look before saying, "Yeah, sure. Let's go pick one out." and he gave her a smile that melted her heart.

At the train station, Lucy and Natsu walked up the platform to board.

"I'm already getting sick..." Natsu said, holding his hand over his mouth.

Lucy responded with a sweet smile and they walked into the train. When they found thier seats, they sat down side by side.

When the train started to move, Natsu immediately got sick. Lucy patted her lap, signifying to lay down. Without hesitation, he layed his head in her lap and suffered the wrath of motion sickness.

Lucy was going to spend as much time with him as possible before she had to leave tonight.

Suddenly, they were chasing a group of four men. Everything went more quickly then expected, I mean... These guys weren't that hard to find...

Lucy was getting tired of chasing them. She pulled out her whip, and with a great lash, she was high in the air. She raised her right arm high and let it down with so much force that when it hit the ground, a large eruption of dust caused the four of them to stop and cover their eyes.

When the smoke cleared, the group was on the ground coughing roughly. Natsu rushed in and aggressively tied them up one by one.

Lucy was about to go assist him, but then, "What are you doing, Lucy?" He was back! Couldn't he just leave her alone? she was angry with him enough as it is.
