If you guys like this book then please share and recommend it to others, it would mean a heck of a lot to me if you did!
Unedited! When it's finished I'll correct it😶
Ps. This ones a little shorter than the others but it was because I had to revise over how many chapters I actually want this book to have. Should be around 30-45...maybe😂 but don't worry, more drama and a blast from the past is definitely coming your way!

___________________________Chapter 28
When I awoke this time it was pleasant. The scent of toast drifted to my nose and voices were laughing and chattering warmly in the background. I was reminded of my brothers suddenly, and of how throughout my life at secondary school I had woken up like this every morning. They had taken on the role of the parents I didn't really have; there in name but not presence.
I wondered how they were faring right now, and if my sister Emilie had gotten married to Collin yet. My stomach twisted at the thought of him, but nothing like the strong sense of nausea and fear I had felt before. I felt stronger now.
Strong enough to face him.
I frowned, my brothers never did really mention how long I was meant to stay here.
Did that mean...I have to leave soon?
There was a sharp ripping sensation in my chest and I gasped, hunching forward into a ball on the sofa. My eyes squeezed shut tightly, and I drew in shallow breaths. When the sensation faded away I let out a breath and sat up straight, to see Denali fast asleep on the adjacent sofa. I swear my heart stuttered.
He looked uncomfortable but still unbearably beautiful at the same time. I closed my eyes so that I wouldn't stare anymore at the exposed skin of his abdomen or the sculpted collarbones and elegant neck. I shook myself mentally and stood slowly, quietly. "Oh!" Tahja exclaimed softly, at that moment appearing in the doorway, "Morning, love." She smiled cheerfully, walking over and placing her arm gently around my shoulder and guiding me into the kitchen.
"I made breakfast today," She laughed, "so feel free to take as much as you want without fearing for your health. We all know these boys go a bit mad with the ingredients." Tahja rolled her pretty dark eyes, shaking her plaited salt and pepper hair. I smiled at her and sat beside Ilyanna, who's eyes were rimmed softly with a faint pink, though she tried to downplay the obvious sadness by smiling widely at me and chatting loudly.
I went along with her whims, plotting to get her in private later on in the day so that I could speak to her about everything. "What do you guys have planned today?" Tahja asked everyone as she placed a plate of toast, eggs and bacon before me. I immediately began eating as Anokan replied.
"I'm heading back to Marts, I've been away too long." He murmured.
"I'm going to stay at Fiona's," Ilyanna chimed in. Tahja looked up at her quizzically, "Why?"
Ilyanna looked down at the table and pursed her lips a little, "There's a few things I want her to teach me, that's all." Tahja's face softened and she nodded, slowly going over to Pab when he entered the other entryway with a yawn, "I swear Tah, there's never a day there's not a group of people in the house when I wake up. It warms the soul," He finished sarcastically, kissing Tahja on the cheek and sipping the coffee she handed him.
