Maka's Pov
I looked at the mirror and huffed a piece of hair from my face, my insides were a jittery mess and I had the distant feeling of needing to throw up.
"You look absolutely perfect Maka." Tsubaki said.
I turned to look at the three girls wearing similar aquamarine dresses. Their hair were done the same, half up and half down, and they held beautiful bouquets of white tulips and light blue roses.
"I'm just so nervous!" I say, taking a deep breath and looking back at the mirror.
My hair was pinned up in the back with a few curled strands left in front. My dress was strapless with beads lined the top. Elegant buttons lined the back of it. Ruffles flowed from the waist down and the train was just gorgeous. Tsubaki put the veil over my head and handed me my own bouquet.
Today, was my wedding day.
I looked to my bridesmaids again.
"Today is your day Maka, you deserve it! He's a good one. Nothing can ruin this day. You've got this!" Liz says, building up my confidence.
"Thanks liz" I breathed.
"Yeah! go and marry your hubby!" Patty nearly shouts while pumping her fists and clapping her hands. We all laughed.
I took a deep breath. "Ok let's do this."
We all hugged, making sure not to ruin each other's hair or rumple our dresses. Tsubaki gave me an extra hug, "You are ready for this, go get em tiger." She giggled. We parted then lined up for the wedding walk..
As I waited for the bride's song I took lot's of deep breaths trying to calm my nerves. A million butterflies were beating their wings in my stomach. I was excited, but also extremely nervous. This was a big day, the biggest day of my life to tell you the truth. But I was ready for the outcome, I wanted to be with the love of my life for the rest of eternity. My soul linked forever to his, and his linked forever to mine. I said my vows a few hundred more times before I heard my queue to start walking down the aisle.
Everyone stood as I walked slowly up the aisle. I looked up and made eye contact with Soul and he was giving me a large shark-toothed grin; I think he was even a little teary eyed. I gave him a smile back and I could feel the tears in my eyes well up too.
I had an overwhelming feeling of happiness and weightlessness, I almost broke the pace I was at and ran to the alter.
As I finally reached the alter, everyone sat down and I handed my flowers to Tsubaki, my maid of honor. Standing behind Soul was his best man Black*star, his best man, Then Kid, and Crona and ragnorok, all smiling and looking sharp.
The priest started talking about the importance of marriage and all that till finally it was time for the vows. Soul grabbed my hand and took out a piece of paper. I have to be honest, I was surprised, I honestly thought he was going to wing it.
"Maka, knowing you these past years has been incredible, from starting out as your weapon partner, to becoming friends, and finally, becoming your lover. You have given me so many memories to hold on to and cherish and for that I am forever grateful. I promise it will never be a dull moment; It never is when I'm with you. I love to see you smile and I love being around you;every moment of everyday. I can't wait to pass on our legacy together and I can't wait to wake up to the beautiful smell of your cooking forever more. I can't wait to promise my entire life to you and I can't wait to start calling you Mrs. Evans, and my beloved wife." He smiled, signalling the end of his speech as I wiped a few tears from my eyes.
I pulled out my paper and started to read, "Soul, you have had my back through everything. You have always done what is best for me and have always protected me. You always believed in me and made me stronger, made me a better person. You say you like my smile and the truth to this smile is it only exists when I'm with you. You bring so much joy and happiness to my life and I can't wait to say that I am completely yours. The memories and experiences we have shared are forever cherished in my heart and soul. I am ready to be called your partner for the rest of our lives and I can't wait to call you my husband." I say, my voice cracking a few times as I smile and let a few more tears fall down my cheeks. Soul brushes them away softly and smiles.
"Do you Soul Eater Evans, take Maka Albarn, to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, for better or for worse, till death do you part?" Asked the priest.
"I do." Soul stated, his voice confident and his smile beaming.
"And do you Maka Albarn, take Soul Eater Evans, to be your lawfully wedded husband, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, for better or for worse, till death do you part?"
"I do" I state confidently, beaming back at Soul.
The priest closed his book, "Congratulations, you may now kiss the bride."
I practically jumped into Soul's arms, His large hand cupping my face as the other snaked around my waist. He pressed his lips against mine, firm and sure and confident, so I knew that he wanted this more than anything.
We were now connected, now and forever more. I couldn't be happier.
We broke the kiss to thunderous applause and before I knew what was going on, Soul threw me over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes and carried me down the aisle, fist raised in the air.
Yep that's my husband everybody.

I know it was kinda short and it kinda sucked and I probably didn't even do the vows right but I had to give it one final hurrah before finally marking this story complete.
For some reason it didn't post the last little but of this chapter so here it is. I just want y'all to know I love y'all sooooo much!!
