…Oh…Oh, oh, oh…
One week later after seeing [Name] disappear, the same group of her brother and friends came back to Hollow Bastion with the SSPA—Solar System Protection Agency—to survey the remains of the world. Bandaged, they trudged through the land, slowly dispersing from the large group they were in and individually wandering off themselves or in smaller troops.
There’s a place, that I know~ It’s not pretty there, and few have ever gone~
Out of them all though, one male shuffled off alone in silence, hands in his pockets as he ignored the pain his body ached in, and turned on the street of what used to be Edoera. He stopped at the burned ashes of the old house and stepped over the broken gate onto the property, just wandering. His eyes trailed the blackened remains as he walked into the backyard, reminiscing of his time with [Name]. As he stepped on the rubble of what was once the elevated platform beneath the balcony of her room, something caught his eye.
If I show it to you now~ Will it make you run away~? …Or will you stay~, even if it hurts~? Even if I try to push you out will you return~?
A white envelope was crinkled beneath the wood, and he used all his strength to remove the large piece, tossing it aside as he picked up the article. It was burned around the edges and smeared with ash, damp from water, making the task of opening it a hassle for him since he had to be careful. Tenderly unfolding the paper within it, his eyes began scanning the document— instantly recognizing [Name]’s handwriting as her voice echoed in his head.
And remind me who I really am~?
‘Dear…
Please remind me who I really am~!

If You Had a [B.O.C]
[B.O.C]…
I don’t know how true this is, and I don’t know why I’m even writing this instead of asking you, but do you think I’m going to die too? Everyone else seems to think so, and, I can’t blame them…But having at least one person there to say I’ll be alright in the end makes me feel better about all of this and…throughout the times, it’s always been you there for me… No matter what you stood there and took my insults, tears, and smiles, and I...
I thank you for that.
What else can I say now? You did so much for me, despite my little knowledge of you, and yours of me. You didn’t hesitate in helping me, and for that, I’m grateful… What makes you different from everyone else in this though, is that…well… [B.O.C], you’re you. I don’t know how else I can say this really, haha. I don’t think I even have the courage to look you in the eye and do it but… [B.O.C]…
Ah, never mind…these things are meant to be said in person right…? Then, will you wait for me to come back so I can tell you? I know it might take long, and there’s a chance I won’t come back at all, but if there’s anyone who believes in me the most, it’s you. I have to return, for you, so you can hear this instead of read this. I want to see your expression, I want… I don’t want to leave you…
But…but trust me, okay? I’ll be back [B.O.C]—I won’t leave you alone forever!
…I promise…
If You Didn’t Have a [B.O.C]
Wasurete…
You’re my brother… My big brother… The brother I didn’t even know I had… As my brother, I want you to know that I’m extremely thankful you want to protect me but…this is something that was started by me, and something that’s only going to be solved through me.
