Frantically, your eyes wandered across the broken glass, looking for some kind of evidence of what happened. Another groan filled your ears, and your head snapped up towards the backyard, scanning for the culprit. Footsteps rushed behind you and you turned around, holding your katana to the person’s throat, making them gasp in shock.
“[N-Name], relax!” Cloud huffed, hands in the air as a plea for mercy.
“What happened here?” Wasurete asked, trudging down the stairs, making you finally take notice that the living room had been completely vacant.
“I don’t know I hear a crash and well, I came running,” you gestured to the blood soaked shards.
“Same here,” he nodded. “You guys too?”
“We decided to follow [Name],” Leon nodded towards you.
“I TOLD you you couldn’t do it!” a voice called out in the darkness of the backyard.
Instinctively you crept outside, your footsteps not making one sound over the glass. The same went for the three boys behind you, only they leapt over it. The first figure you saw move in the darkness you dashed towards, pulling them out from behind one of the trees and tackling them onto the floor, katana blade pressed against their neck. As their lips twisted up into a wicked grin, you raised an eyebrow and pulled back, still sitting on their stomach.
“If you wanted to get kinky, all you had to do was ask,” Vanitas winked, his golden eyes staring at you seductively.
Wasurete let out a low, but loud growl, pulling you off the ravenette as you blushed and glared at him with penetrating emerald eyes,” What—”
“What the fuck happened to the damn window!?” Kurogane barked from the porch, eyes wide, with Fai behind him sighing in disappointment.
“Nothing, nothing, just an experiment gone wrong,” Noa stepped out from the shadows, a sheepish smile on his face.
“What did you do!?” Fai stomped over to his brother, hands on his hips.
“W-Well… Um…”
“You retard!” Rika pointed a finger at him, staggering out from behind the tree, her body covered in blood, pieces of glass stabbing her skin. “You were supposed to stop me!”
“Riki!” you shrieked, running over to her.
“I told you not to experiment on people!” Fai chided, pulling on Noa’s ear as he towed him into the house.
“Ow, ow, ow! Wait! Wait! ANIKI!” Noa whined in pain.
Patching Rika up took no more than an hour. Balthier had already went to sleep, so you did the healing yourself, ignoring the whines of pain the redhead gave out as you removed the glass from her skin. She—just like Axel—ended up having thin skin tissue, making you heal more than stitch her wounds. However, when it was all done, she grinned and decided on making you a cheesecake in return as thanks. Not much later, you were forced to bed by Wasurete, and you had to admit, you were too tired to put up much of a fight.

“What the hell is up with the weather here?” Ryuushin sighed, finishing yet another book about the Silver Dragon legend, tossing it on the table.
“Hollow Bastion has bipolar weather,” Koji, his new second in command replacement for Jason, shrugged, toying with the chain around his neck.
“We can’t DO anything in it.”
