"Why not!? That's not fair, I wanted to go!!"
"You're not the only one Yuffie so did I," Namine frowned.
"DO YA WANT ME TO LEAVE YOU HERE!?," Cid bellowed, turning around. "'Cuz I can. Legally, unless we're in Hollow Bastion, ya ain't my problem."
"Calm down, you can't expect to control complaints the way you control our destination," Auron sighed.
It was Saturday morning. You spent last night in a lodge in a place called Guadosalam after being at the Moonflow for a while. You had seen different types of fiends, but were surprised to find that the Guado were their own race like humans. Right now, you and the group were walking back down the path that leads to Besaid's beach. Most of them were complaining about the Thunder Plains being closed due to excessive fiend control- and therefore, the Gullwings couldn't preform, leaving everyone the 'joy' of going home early. An hour ago; Tidus had teleported the group back and you were now on your way to the Gummi ship to go to Hollow Bastion. Wakka and Lulu decided they'd come as well- both transfers into Hollow Bastion University.
You walked with your arms crossed in the back of the crowd, staring at the ground in deep thought, watching as the pebbles on the side of the walkway sparkled in the sunlight. Since last night when you had that long memory flash before you, you couldn't help but feel that something was going to come for you. It was as if that knot in your stomach was telling you to run before someone here got hurt, but you ignored it, and looked up from the ground, thinking that it was just your nerves or something.
You noticed that you were now at the sandy shores of the beach, and there was something- someone- curled up on one of the ship's stands. At the moment, you were the only one who saw, so you quickly took off running towards the Shera, and into the water, despite the others calling you. As you came up to it, you slowed to a stop. The person looked over their shoulder, and then jumped up at the sight of you.
"[Name]! Oh, thank god!"
"Zell? What are you doing here by yourself?," you asked, cocking your head to the side.
He grinned as the others came up behind you. "Well, Auron, would you like to tell them that I went to Killika and you never told anyone, or should I? Oh wait, I think I already did," he crossed his arms, glaring at Auron who scoffed.
Cid opened the steps to the ship and began ascending," Aw, quit yer complainin! We all got our problems!" he grumbled.
You giggled and ran up past him. "Cid's grumpy, I'm driving!" you called over your shoulder. There was laughter behind you followed by yelling and a crash, and you couldn't help but laugh. You tossed your bag onto one of the seats and ran over to the middle swivel chair in front of the main computer, sitting with your legs on it crisscrossed. You switched on the computers, and watched on one of the small screens as everyone boarded. You then closed the deck and turned on the microphone," Good morning everyone, we'll be taking off shortly, please buckle up and stay in your seats until further notice."
Cloud came up behind you and sat in the chair next to yours. "Please tell me you're not really going to pilot the airship," he gave you a skeptical look.
You smirked, and pressed a few buttons, letting the airship roar to life. "I don't exactly see Cid here so," you shrugged," I might as well. I bet I can do it even better than his co- pilot."
He chuckled and leaned back in his chair," I'm not the only one you know."
"Who's the other then?," you looked over at him.
An irritated Vincent plopped down onto the chair on your left and sighed. "Cid's fine; according to Reno, he'll be able to hear again in a few minutes." He then turned to you," You can drive?," he raised an eyebrow.
