Chap13~The Unlocking Ceremony (part 2)

Lily's P.O.V
I stepped into the little white circle and waited to see what he would do. It would be kind of cool to have some sort of powers. Millenium walked over to me and started a chant. It was in Greek, I think. He had his arms raised and eyes closed. And then something actually started to happen. The white circle began to glow. I looked to Cam and Ren and they both had the same expression, jaws hanging to floor and eyes as big as the moon. The glow continued to rise and soon enveloped me. I don't know how long I was in that glowing cocoon, but when it died down, I felt new, different.
"Lilian, step out of the circle. You're like me, a witch. Although since I'm a man, I'm called a wizard. I'll take you to a room where you can practice when we're done here. Cameron, your turn."
Cameron's P.O.V
"What color is the middle circle Cameron?" Millenium asked.
"You knew Lily's. Why don't you know mine?"
"Because Lily is like me. We see the same color. You are not."
It made sense. Well, as much sense as anything would make right now.
"Electric blue."
"Ok. Just as I thought you were. Step in."
I did. He began the same process he had done with Lily, except the words sounded different. The glow began and soon after it began to encompass me like it had Lily. When it stopped I felt different than before. Everything seemed more clear, like a fog had surrounded me my whole life.
"What am I," I asked eagerly.
"You're a hybrid. Anyone who sees a color that's bright, like neon or electric colors, they're a mixed breed. You are a hybrid of a telepath and a Were. I'm sure you already know what a telepath is. A Were is someone who can transform into different animals, but they have one main animal. It fits their personality, kind of like a spirit animal. Weres are where the idea of spirit animals came from actually."
"Wow." My voice slipped out as a whisper.
"Ren. Last but not least."
Ren's P.O.V
"I see yellow."
"I thought so. Go ahead and step in."
I walked over, Millenium close behind me. As soon as I walked into the circle he began. The glow came faster than it had with the girls. It ended quicker too. I stepped out after what felt like seconds.
"How do you feel?" Millenium asked.
"Better. Like I was sick but didn't know it, and now I'm healed. I want to know what I am."
"Well, you're a speedster."
"Like The Flash?" Cameron asked.
"Actually exactly like the Flash. Do you guys want to go meet everybody else. I can also show you some real rooms. Now that you believe me, you probably shouldn't have to be in cells anymore."
"Let's go." We all agreed.
