Lily's P.O.V.(Right after chapter 3)

I heard Cammie scream out to me to go through her window. I ran as fast as possible. Thanks to adrenaline, I didn't have to mess with the window screen and was able to punch it out. But, my rush trough the window hole had me going straight over the edge of the second story half wrap-around porch. It took a matter of seconds to hit the grassy ground. I hit the ground on my left side. I think I heard a bone or multiple crack. I yanked out my cell with my right hand. You may be wondering, "Why is she not in horrible pain?" Well, as I said adrenaline and shock, I guess. Anyway... I dialed 911 and the conversation went like this.

"911. What is your emergency?"

"I'm at my friend's house. Someone broke in. They have her. Inside."

"What's your name?"

"I'm Lilly. You're probably gonna ask my address. 1575 W. Willoughby Road."

"Ok, Lilly. I'm going to send over some officers. Will you need an ambulance?"

"Um... definitely."

I hung up and ran a few houses down. The couple that lived there were awesome. The man, Mitch, used to serve in the army. I knew they would help me. I knocked on the door and frantically rang the doorbell. I heard their two dogs run down the stairs followed by them. Mitch's wife Diana opened the door. She baked the best cookies anyone could ever eat. "Oh my gosh! Lily, what happened to you?"

"Cammie and I were in her room and someone broke in her house. She thought he was gone so she went down stairs. I couldn't here anything and then all of a sudden she screamed for me to go through the window, so I went but-"

Apparently she realized I was just going to keep going right here on her porch so she stopped me and ushered me inside. I could smell some of her famous cookies. I sat at the table and she handed me one. This batch was peanut butter. I continued my story, slowly nibbling the cookie. "So after going out the window full speed, I ended up propelling myself over the edge."

"Oh dear. Poor girl. Where's Cammie?"

"She couldn't get out. I called the police though."

As soon as I said that, we heard sirens approaching our neighborhood. She called for Mitch. He came into the kitchen

"Can you do any examining on her? She fell off Cammie's upper porch." Mitch immediately set about it. I told him that the ambulance had now arrived so he ended up just taking me out there. I was rushed to the hospital.
