Liz and Ann led us down a hallway we hadn't seen yet. It was brightly lit, just like the rest of the place and the floor was hardwood. There were doors along each wall, hotel style. Above each door was a gold plaque with black letters on it, each reading a different breed of supernatural creature. There were more people down here, more than just the ones from the common room. I was looking around when I spotted two very familiar faces.
"Kaitlin! Amelia!" I cried out and ran to them, embracing them immediately. I felt a weight crash into me from behind and knew it was Lily. We pulled away so we could talk to them.
"Everybody's been looking for you! We didn't know what happened." I said
"The whole school thought you were dead," Lily added.
"Millennium found us. I'm a witch a-" Lily cut Amy off, "Me too!"
Katie picked up where she had left off, "And I'm a hybrid."
"What mix are you," I wondered, curious if she was like me.
" A telepath and a Were."
"Oh my God! We're the same!"
Our reunion was cut short when Millennium stepped into the hall.
"Alright everyone, quiet down."
He paused until the hall was silent. "We have some new blood today and they need to know what's going on. This is the training hall. Find the door that has your breed over it and go in for group training if your newly unlocked, go to the last door on the left to learn about your powers."
After he was done, everyone dispersed through different doors. We walked to the last door and went in.
"Hello and welcome to class."
Said a perky woman inside the room. She had caramel colored hair you could tell was not her natural color and her eyes were ice blue. She was very young, just years older than us. She had a slightly Texan accent.
"So, first of all, what breed are y'all and what's your names?"
I answered first. "I'm a hybrid of a telepath and a Were and my name's Cameron."
"Lily, and I'm a witch."
"I'm a speedster. My name is Wren."
"That's cool. I'm a Were. I'll probably end up being one of your trainers Cameron. That is unless they find a hybrid trainer."
"Ok cool."
"Today we'll be talking about the history of the war and what's going on here. Take a seat and let's begin.
Long ago, a human girl wandered into one of our camps. She saw one of us demonstrating a power and was captivated. Amazed. It was a boy about her age. She went to the camp every night to see what he could do. He was a telekinetic. But the girl had an admirer in her village. The boy followed her to the camp one day but she was already in love with the supernatural boy. Overcome with jealousy he told his parents and they rallied the warriors of the village, planning to seize the camp the next night. The boy told the girl the plan, thinking she would give up on the other boy he thought would soon be dead and love him. But instead it backfired on him. She ran to the camp one last time and revealed the plan to the boy there. He told everyone, the only downside was that relationships with humans weren't allowed and the leaders of their group found out. He managed to convince them she wouldn't tell, it wasn't her fault, and they let her run with them. Ever since, that clan of humans has grown and hunted us down for centuries. That boy and girl, Cameron, were your great great great great grandparents.
