So, I know I have written in a while, but I have good reason. I was sick- I'm sick a lot- and I was writing my new story Unknown, which you should all check out. And this would have been published sooner, but I went to the hospital on Wednesday. I'm OK now though, and back to write.

We quickly put our plan in motion. I turned myself into a hummingbird, fluttering away from the cuffs easily. I then turned back to my human self. Katie did the same. Wren, after figuring out the right speed, got himself out of the cuffs as Katie and I ripped Lily and Amy's handcuffs right off the bed frame. The two of us then changed into bears and charged the door. It popped open with a groan. The hallway was a tight squeeze for two big bears, and only I could ram the next door. It took a couple times but I got it to open. That had us all in the big room with the table. Only one other door. Katie and I took that one together again and it released with one hit. As soon as it opened, sounds of fighting filled our ears. I could smell our fellow Supers and shrank down to my human form. Katie followed suit.
"This way guys!" I yelled, leading them to the left where the fighting was coming from. We stumbled into a huge room with a high, dome shaped ceiling. Our people were fighting their people. I changed into a wolf and ran into the fight. I pounced into the human closest to me. I sank my teeth into his shoulder, growling and snarling. I recognised his scent, but wasn't sure where from. He was probably one of the people in the truck that hit us. That thought made me even more angry. I had torn his shoulder up pretty bad, though, so rational thought led me to go to a different person. I ran through the room, looking for somebody who needed help. A telepath I had seen in the bunker in America, just a young guy, was losing a fist fight with a large man. I quickly went over there, sinking my teeth into the man's calf. The thing was bigger than my head. He shouted out something, shaking his leg in an attempt to get me off. I sank my teeth in as far as they'd go, then released his leg. I backed up, and he turned back to the telepath. I then ran at him as fast as I could, jumping into his back with my full weight. My claws sank into his shoulders and he cried out as he fell. I could feel the savagery of the wolf, telling me to end this guy. Whispering to me to kill him because he kidnapped my friends and me and was trying to kill my people. I came very close to giving in, raking my claws down his back. I stared down as blood began to flow from huge gashes. Getting off his back, I poked the human's head with my nose, seeing if he was alive. His head rolled to the side, eyes glazed over. He was dead. Remorse and guilt began to fill me, but I was in the middle of a battle. Sitting here feeling bad could get me killed. I reminded myself that they killed Katie's brother, kidnapped us, and were continuously trying to kill all of us just for being born. I stood up, changing back to my human form for a second. The telepath looked at me and smiled.
"I know you feel bad, but thank you. You saved my life. I have a daughter, and I was afraid I'd never see her again." Then he ran off to fight somebody else. I was a little shocked. I may have just killed somebody, but I saved somebody else from being killed. Somebody with a daughter. Somebody who wasn't a killer, like the humans. I shook my head, trying to clear it, and shifted into a lioness. I engaged with a woman who apparently thought she could beat a lion. I swiped at her face, leaving three long gashes on her face. She stabbed my shoulder with a knife. I hissed and it the hand holding the knife. They say don't bite the hand that feeds you, but what about the one that stabs you? I then went up on my hind legs and pushed her back with my front paws. She fell to the ground, hitting her head. She was at least unconscious. We had beaten a lot of humans, and now outnumbered them. By a lot. At least the ones here that is, there could be more in other countries. Brian called everybody out through a hole I'm guessing they put into the wall. We all left, loading into about fifty different trucks sitting outside. I was laying on my side in the truck bed, a knife sticking out of my golden shoulder. I couldn't change forms because of the wound and nobody could pull the knife out because it would cause me to bleed a lot. I don't think they wanted me laying in a pool of blood. We hightailed it back to the castle. A lot of people, including myself, were rushed to the infirmary. After organising us from about-to-die to just-needs-a-small-band-aid, they started operating on people. I was brought in soon- they didn't seem nervous about a lion being in their clinic- and put on a table. They injected some numbing stuff into my shoulder. At least I think it was to numb it, because it sure did. They yanked the knife out, which I did not feel but heard clatter onto the table behind me. Then they stitched and bandaged up my shoulder and instructed me not to shift until it heals, or I'll rip my stitches. Then they sent me on my way. I had lost Wren and the girls during the fight so I went to go find them. I decided to go check our room. I went up the staircase, favouring my left side the whole way. Going up the stairs was hard. I finally made it to our room, but the door was closed. I could hear voices inside so I went onto my back paws and started to scratch at the door a little. It opened to reveal Amy, who was crying.
"Cammie is that you?" She asked, her voice wavering. I nodded my big lion head and she backed up to let me into the room. I looked around the room, but only Lily and Amy were here.
"Cammie, there's something we need to tell you."
