Lily screamed after the cop did and I made a face and said, "What the literal fuck!?"

Lily made a face at the cussing but I didn't care. I slowly crept over to the door and peered under to see...

Eyes. Eyes staring back at me. "SHIT!" I screamed, jumping away from the door. Lily asked me what was wrong and I put a finger to my lips and walked to my extra dresser. I opened a drawer and pulled out a pen and paper. Carefully putting my back to the door, I wrote, Under the door, he is peeping. She put a hand to her mouth to stifle a scream. She pointed to the door and I turned around. Fingers were coming through the crack in the door. I mouthed,Holy shit. Lily nodded in agreement, for once not chastising me for cussing.

The fingers were gone now so I crawled to the door and looked under it. No eyes this time. I looked to Lily and shook my head, causing her to sigh in relief. I put my ear to the door, listening. I always had the best hearing in my class, heck my whole school. Once again I shook my head no. I said, "I'm going out there. I'll be back." At the end I did my best Arnold Schwarzenegger impression. She shook her head, either telling me not to go or not to leave her alone. Maybe just hating on Arnold. I ignored her protests as I cleared the bins out of the way and slid out the door. I walked down the steps, glancing around. I got downstairs and found a man sitting in my dad's tan recliner. He was reasonably attractive. He had black hair that was kind of bang like, hanging over his hazel eyes. He wore black clothing and toxic green Converse. I started to back away and he muttered just high enough for me to hear it,"You can't run Cameron Reeves. You can't run!"
