Chapter 3: The Night Before Christ---The Day Before Halloween

October 30, 2013, Wednesday

*~~Zack's P.O.V.~~*

It's Wednesday, it's going to be less lively without Matt, but hey, I'll survive. It's cool how I only have three classes today and how I didn't have to wake up too early today. 

I checked my phone for the time, I only have 30 minutes to get to college. Wow time flies fast. I already took a shower so I just grabbed a black shirt and jeans. It seems hot so, no need for a sweater.

Science just sucked ass, good thing I'll see Juliet and Maddie soon. What's taking them so long? I finished my peanut butter sandwich and they're still not here. I check my phone for any messages, and there's one from Juliet:
Hey Zack! Are you at the campus? Guess what, Matt isn't the only one with no classes on Wednesdays. Maddie just checked her schedule and jumped up and down. She has no college on Wednesdays, either. I don't have classes until English, but I'll have lunch with you.

It seems that she sent this to me an hour ago. And then it dawned on to me. Oh crap, that's not good if we're alone. Be natural okay, you big buffoon. Don't do or say anything stupid. I scowl at myself, I really should stop talking to myself. Maybe some music would be good, I plugged my earbuds in and let my music play. Without realizing I fall asleep.

"...Zack...Zack...Zack...ZACK! WAKE UP!" What the, who is that?

"Five more minutes," I murmur then the same person was shaking me.

"Come on Zack, English is about to start, I'm really sorry I didn't come earlier." I recognized the sweet voice, it belongs to Juliet.

"Oh it's you Juliet." I rubbed my eyes and put my things away.

"Yes it's me, now let's go." For the first time, she held my hand, I'm usually the one who grabs her hand, and she led me to English class. Hmm what a nice Wednesday.

*~~Juliet's P.O.V.~~*

So here we are at Matt's house, discussing Halloween plans. Just drinking a big ole' Gatorade bottle and passing it around.

Matt started, "Okay, so we're all going to Garrett's Halloween party tomorrow, yes?"

We all gave him a nod and he continued, "All right, so what are we going to be dressed up as?"

"We can do a group costume thing." Mads suggested.

"It's best if we hit the stores right now if we're going to wear costumes." Zack advised, rising up from his seat.

I nodded and got up. But not fast enough as Matt, for he ran out with Zack's keys and called shotgun.

"For some reason, I feel like I should apologize on his behalf. So I'm sorry ladies, that you have to deal with that." Zack said, holding the door for us. 

Mads and I grinned, their friendship is like no other. 

Matt was already in Zack's car...at his seat, swaying his head to the music playing. Zack knocked on his window, "Shotgun boy, give me your keys. I'm going to lock your door." Matt complied, smiling big at Zack.

And off we were, to the nearest costume store.

The store was pretty busy, guess we're not the only ones costume shop last minute. We've been wondering around for almost half an hour. We've gathered some ideas but we were still debating between themes.
