26. Splash Paint

Chapter 26: Splash Paint

April 2, 2014, Wednesday

*~~Juliet's P.O.V.~~*

"Wait how are we going to go to Matt's house?" I asked Zack, as I helped him pull a bucket into his car.

"Duplication of keys. Okay, angel here's the other bucket." Zack said, bringing another bucket. There was only two, we aren't that evil.

We had to drag the buckets to Matt's room, then the real fun began. Even though we had a delay (it was 8:40), the happy couple was still sleeping.

"Don't they look happy, honey?" I asked Zack, batting my eyelashes and clasping my hands together.

He chuckled and said, "Sure they do. But now our revenge begins! WAKEY WAKEY MATT AND MADDIE!" Zack said throwing handfuls of paintballoons and waterballoons at Matt and Maddie. I laughed, then joined him.

When we finished Matt groaned, "What the hell! Gosh revenge is an arse." Maddie joined him, "I have paint on my nip---" Matt covered her mouth with his. "Shhh, honey they don't need to know."
Zack was awestruck for some reason. Then he finally spoke, "That's it, I'm going to splash paint my house today, with actual paint. Don't worry you two, that paint can come up with water. Unlike the paint you threw at our faces yesterday."

I saluted at the naked couple, "My work here is done. Let's go, honey!" I grabbed a bucket and gripped his free hand.

"You're really going to splash paint your bedroom?" I asked Zack as I got in his car. I pressed play on his IPhone and Football Season is Over by Bring Me the Horizon plays.

"Yeah, I'll show you when I'm done." Zack said cheerfully.

*~~Zack's P.O.V.~~*

I bought all the materials for my bedroom. It's going to look amazing. I stripped down to my boxers and put on overalls. It's going to be a long day. I call Matt:
"Hey buddy, want to help me paint my bedroom?"

~8 PM~

*~~Juliet's P.O.V.~~*

I'm rolling around the floor, sad that Zack hasn't called all day. Maddison comes into my room with the laundry basket on her hip.

"Woman, quit rolling around and sulking. If you miss your boyfriend so much, why not just visit him." She took my dirty clothes basket and walked away. I huffed and puffed and rolled around for a bit longer, when I realized that she's right. Why don't I visit him, the guy isn't always supposed to take the lead.

When I opened Zack's door (yeah I didn't return the key to Matt), his house smelled like paint and all his bedroom furniture was in his living room. I tiptoed my way to his bedroom to see Matt and Zack lying on the ground. Matt has his head on Zack's stomach, they both look adorable in overalls, but are they naked underneath? I don't want to know.

"Zack your room looks amazing!" Zack is surprised as he hears my voice then smiles at me.
"Thank you, Matt and I first painted the walls black, even the ceiling see. Then we threw cans of colorful paint on the walls." Zack explained to me.

I laid beside him and kissed his cheek. "That's cool, but I missed you. Is Matt sleeping?"

Zack nodded and held my hand, "I missed you, too, angel. Sorry I didn't call or anything, I had paint on my hands...though right now it's dried. And yeah, poor guy got tired. The walls are going to take time drying."

"What about that wall? It's only black." I pointed to the wall connecting to his door.

"I don't know I might just leave that one just black because you know the glow in the dark stars? I'm going to stick them there. So when I'm in bed and I look to sideways, bam, stars!"

I smiled and kissed his cheek, again, "It's going to look beautiful."

He nodded, and then at some point we fell asleep.

*~~Matt's P.O.V.~~*

I woke up at 8:32, to see Zack and Juliet sleeping. They really do make a good pair...I can almost hear the wedding bells....just kidding...not really. I stretch my arms and get off Zack's stomach. I call Maddie over to his house, while I'm taking a piss. Yeah, that's the way I rule!

I was making myself a sandwich, thought there was no meat, when Zack's doorbell rang. Zack came to the living room, rubbing his eyes.

I heard Zack's sleepy voice, "Hey Maddie...Matt? I don't know, probably the kitchen."

I felt arms around my neck as Maddie greeted me with a kiss, then sighed, "Hey babe."

I smirked and pulled her closer, "You look like hell."

She rolled her eyes, "It was my turn to do dirty laundry. What's with the overalls, please tell me you're wearing boxers."

I grinned, "Nothing is underneath this overalls. If you take it off, I'm naked."

Maddie threw back her head and laughed, "Don't tell me Zack is doing the same thing you are."

"Nope," I said, popping the p, "He's only wearing boxers. Want a bite of my meatless sandwich."

Maddie was about to leave with Juliet, but Zack was kissing Juliet in his bedroom. They were facing each other, their sides against the black wall. I saw some colorful paint cans and got an idea. I whispered it to Maddie and we had our revenge as we grabbed the cans and threw it at Zack and Juliet.

"Yellow, Red, Pink, Green, Blue, White!" Maddie yelled at them.

I laughed, "You two look colorful!"

Juliet groaned, "It's hard to scrub this kind of paint off. And now it's all over my clothes."

*~~Zack's P.O.V.~~*

I stared at my ex-black wall. It looked great, the paint outlined Juliet and my kiss. I went up to Maddie and Matt, gripped their hands and kissed their cheeks.

Matt frowned, "That wasn't the effect I was aiming for."

I grinned and pointed to the paint-splash-kiss wall, "That was more than what I was aiming for."
Maddie stared at the wall and clapped her hands, "It looks great! You could put glow in the dark stars around the paint splash, to make it look better."

Juliet looked at it and her face softened, "She's right, this is now my favorite wall in your bedroom."
I held Juliet's hand, "Mine, too. Now if I look sideways, I'll not only see stars, but our kiss."
