Chapter 15: The Family Members

*~~Zack's P.O.V.~~*

"Juliet, are you ready? It's already 8:30." I called Juliet from the porch.

"I'm coming, I'm coming!" She replies. And there she is, she looks beautiful as usual.

"Nice skirt." I say, giving her a kiss on the cheek.

"Thanks, I love your shirt." She gives me a kiss on the cheek, too.

"Let me warn you, my brother and father are going to ask you a million questions. My brother and father will try to scare you away. But really, they are actually really nice people." Juliet looked worried, how cute.

"Don't worry, it only shows how much they care for you." I give her a reassuring smile and Juliet relaxes.

We reach her parents house, "You can park right here. This neighborhood is full of really nice people." That's a good thing, being surrounded by nice people at a young age, no wonder Juliet's so nice, herself.

Juliet knocks on the door. A tall guy opens the door, I'd say he's around 25, but what do I know.

He extends his hand and says in a cold voice, "Nice to meet you, you must be Zack. I'm Oliver Grayson, Juliet's older brother." I shake his hand, "Zachary Graves, nice to meet you, too."
Grayson? Shouldn't it be Annabel?

Oliver pushes the door wide open, "Come on in."

A girl in the living room leapt up from the couch to kiss Oliver, then she saw my face with wide eyes.

"Oh my god, you're Zachary Graves!"

"Calm down Gisselle, I promised Juliet that I'd try to not scare him away." Oliver said, wrapping his arms around Giselle, I'm guessing.

"It's fine." I replied, as Juliet squeezed my hand and had an apologetic smile. I returned the smile.

Gisselle frowned, "I thought you never smiled, was that a lie."

Juliet spoke for me, "No, he began to smile when I agreed to date him."

Gisselle smiled, "Aww that's cute, Oli, you should stop bullying them." Oliver just grumbled and dragged Gisselle to the sofa.

"10 more minutes til' dinner kiddies! Oliver, go call your father, please." I hear a woman, must be Juliet's mother.

"Come on, let's meet Mums." Juliet drags me to the kitchen.

Juliet's mother gives Juliet a huge hug, almost cradling her, "Juliet, my beautiful daughter! Oh how I miss you so much. I'm so glad that you can have dinner with us." Juliet's mother turns my way and asks me, "Oh and who may you be?"

"Zachary Graves, it's a pleasure to meet the woman who raised my girlfriend." I extended my hand for a handshake, but the woman pulled me in for a hug and kissed both my cheeks.

"I'm so proud of you Juliet! I'm Mairy Annabel Grayson and I'm not a handshaker, I'm a hugger. Oh, you and Juliet should stay for the night, leave tomorrow, please?"

"Mums, Zack has work, we can't---" I cut her off, "No I don't, Lisa sent me a text, that I have to return Monday. It'd be great to stay here. Juliet, you wanted to, so why not?"

Juliet's face lit up, "Oh my god, I love you two so much!" She gave her mom and me a hug.

And then her mother warned me, "Be careful, Larry and Oliver are going to bully you today. But they will get over it and accept you by night time. Now shoo, go watch some TV, I need 8 more minutes."
