Chapter 5: Skipping Classes

November 1, 2013, Friday

*~~Maddie's P.O.V.~~*

I woke up to see Matt's grinning face.

"What do you want? We're skipping college, let me sleep more." I groaned at him and turned my body. When I saw Juliet and Zack cuddling, I was shocked.

"I woke up and saw these two snuggling, and thought that you would want to see the wonderful sight before they wake up."

"Oooh, we should take pictures." I told him and he nodded in agreement.

After we took the pictures, we went to eat breakfast. Matt grabbed a glass and orange juice. He took out another glass and handed it to me, "You want some?"

"No, I'm in the mood for bacon and eggs, but Zack's vegetarian." I said as I put the glass back.

"We should go to IHop, you know leave the two idiotic love birds to themselves. It's so obvious they have feelings for each other, but only they don't know." Matt says shaking his head.

"Right?! They totally should go out, but no! I bet you they are going to hook up in December." I said with a smirk on my face.

"Why December? How about we hook up and set them an example." Matt walks over to me and tries to kiss me on the lips but I turn my head so he kisses me on the cheek instead. He curses.

I laugh and stick my tongue at him, "Both their birthdays fall on December and December is a special month. Now let's go wench, IHop is waiting for us. And as punishment for trying to kiss me, you owe me a piggyback ride."

He groaned, but kneeled down so I can hop on his back.

As I climbed on Matt's back, I couldn't help but acknowledge the physical tension between us...only in my mind though. I'd never admit it out loud. I'm pretty sure he'd be great in the bedroom, but I want a relationship...with Oliver not Matt. I let out a sigh at the direction of my thoughts.

"Just one block and we'll get there, woman. I'm hungry too." Matt commented, his tone playful.

"Kayyyyy."

*~~Juliet's P.O.V.~~*

I wake up to see Zack lying next to me, on his IPhone with one arm. He looked up and caught me staring at him.

"Oh look who just woke up."

I was going to respond but Zack continued, "I'm just kidding. Good morning, Juliet. I would've been gone, but I didn't want to wake you."

He stared at my stomach. I followed his stare and saw that I was lying on top of his arm.

I quickly shot up, "I am so sorry, your arm must be numb." God, this is so embarrassing.

He shook his head, "No, it's ok, my arm would be fine. So, you can't sleep without a teddy bear, huh? That's very sweet." I thought he was teasing me about my teddy bear sleeping habit, but his eyes were sincere.

I tried switching topics, "Where are Matt and Maddie? I don't see them around anywhere and the house is silent."

"Matt and Maddie went to IHop. They want bacon and knew they wouldn't find it in a vegetarian's house. Egg sandwich sound good to you?"

I gave him a nod, "Is it okay if I use your bathroom?"

Zack nodded, "Of course, feel free." And then he walked to his kitchen.

Zack has a really neat bathroom and a giant tub. Hmmmmm.

I just finished making the egg sandwiches and then Juliet came in with a towel wrapped on her head and my one of my band shirts.
