Chapter 28: Just Another Day

April 30, 2014, Wednesday

*~~Juliet's P.O.V.~~*

Zack and I groan as Beautiful Remains by Black Veil Brides rings from my phone. It's 9 in the morning, we were just sleeping, when my phone started ringing.

Zack grumbles, "Why is your phone ringing? Today my classes start at 11 AM and your classes start at 1 AM, today.

I bury my face into Zack's chest, we're in my bed right now. Then I remember, it's Madison's birthday today!

"Zack, it's Maddie's birthday today. I can't believe I almost forgot. I didn't even tell you!"

"We should make breakfast for her. Can you go check if she's awake? I'll call Matt, since he's a meat eater, he can cook bacon for her."

I tiptoe to Maddie's room to see she's still sleeping. With a sigh of relief I go back to my room, I need to brush my teeth.

I skip to the kitchen to see a half naked Zack. I wrap my arms around his chest and kiss his cheek, "Are you making your famous pancakes? We don't have strawberries, I finished them all last week, but we have syrup."

Zack kisses my cheek, "It's alright, we should go grocery shopping today, just the two of us. Can you fry the eggs? I don't want to burn them, and Matt is on his way. I should put a shirt on, shouldn't I?"

"No, you look fine and yes, we should go grocery shopping. And of course I'll fry the eggs, we don't want Maddie to be upset about her eggs do we?" I say, poking Zack's dimple. Matt is right, Zack's dimples are just so pokable. It's like his dimples are asking you to poke him.

Matt comes in to the kitchen, "Morning lovebirds~! It's my girl's birthday and we know she's a meat eater, so do you have bacon in the fridge?"

Zack and I say morning, then I check the fridge and nod to Matt as I take out blueberry yogurt for Maddie. So on the stove there's three pans, one with bacon, another with pancakes, and the last with eggs. When we finish making breakfast, Matt goes to Maddie's room to wake her up.

After some moans, yes moans, I don't even want to know, Matt and Maddie walk into the dinner table. We all yell, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" and I kissed her cheek and hugged her.

I held her at an arm's length and jumped up and down, "Woman, you're 21 now! You're boyfriend cooked bacon, my boyfriend cooked pancakes, and I fried eggs! And I remembered to let the blueberry yogurt cool!"

Maddie gasped, "No way! Blueberry yogurt? You finally remembered?! This is the best birthday ever!"

Matt chuckled as he wrapped his arms around Maddie's waist and kissed her cheek, "It's going to get better because you are going to spend the whole day with me~. And I promise to take you to Yogurtland and let you buy as much as you want."

Maddie turned in Matt's arms to face him, "Oh my gosh baby! I love you more now!" She kissed his cheeks then turned to Zack and me, "You guys are the best! Thought I may get fat, you guys are still the best! Now let's eat, you guys made enough for a whole family to eat!"

~10:30 AM~

"Zack I'm going to get some decorations, we're going to throw a mini party for Maddie tonight. I'm going to buy all the stuff, while you're in college. And I might go back to the so I won't be there with you during lunch time and aftercollege, sorry, but I promise that we'll go grocery shopping after college." I told Zack, as I'm buttoning up my button down white shirt.

Zack pulled out a just-a-little-above-the-ankle, flowy, brown skirt and handed to me. "Aww that sucks. Science always sucks ass and now lunch is going to suck ass, too. But I'll survive...if we get to go to 'Candy Park' afterwards." Zack says pulling me into his arms and lightly brushing his lips against mine.
