4. Halloween~

Chapter 4: Halloween~

October 31, 2013, Thursday

*~~Juliet's P.O.V.~~*

I wake up to some song playing. "What the hell? Mads is that you?"

"Yup, you wouldn't wake up so I thought you'd wake up with a song. Now get up it's Halloween, I have our costumes out." Gosh, you can't help but love Mads.

I nodded, letting her words sink into my sleepy brain, then looked at her like she was crazy, "Wait, are we even allowed to be wearing our costumes to the campus?"

"...No....but I thought it'd be fun." She is whining now. Oh dear.

"No Mads, you wouldn't want to get the costumes ruined!" I shook my head, this girl! And walked off to the bathroom.

Maddison finally got her car fixed, while my brother still has my car, so we didn't need a ride from Zack or Matt. I closed the door and there was Matt and Zack, in Matt's car.

Matt stuck his head out, "Oh my bad, I thought you two just forgot to text us, so I...never mind. Well do you girls still want to hop in? You'll save gas~ And who knows what if your car breaks down in the middle of the road."

When Maddie heard Matt she blanched. Haha, it was obvious Matt was kidding, but he managed to pull one of her strings. She grabbed my hand, "Thank you, Matt, we'll take you up on your offer."

We got in the back and I saw Zack asleep in the passenger seat. He looked so cute and then we heard him sleep talking, "I promise, I didn't take the last cookie." and he moved his head to the other side.

I was still staring at him, when Maddie spoke up, "Wow, I'm impressed that you didn't wake Zacky up, Matt. Good job."

"Naw, the guy slept late last night because when he came back from dropping you guys off, I went to his house to play video games. I didn't leave till 1 AM. I knew he was too nice to kick me out and that he loved video games, too. Heh." Matt had a huge grin as he said that.

When we arrived, a song started playing from Zack's phone and a sleepy Zack said, "We're here already?"

Matt gave Zack a smirk, "Yeah, I'm surprised that you even set up an alarm to wake you up."

*~~Zack's P.O.V.~~*

I had almost half an hour before my next class started, so I just sat under the tree. The one that the group hangs around. I usually wander around the campus, that's how I know where each class is, but I don't feel like it today. To my surprise, the whole group was here.

Juliet gave me a cheerful wave and Maddie flashed me a welcoming smile, "Ayyyy well look who's here."

"Looks like we all have some time to kill before our next class huh?" Matt asked, grinning.

"Well this is nice." I said, taking a seat next to Matt, resting my head against the bark of the tree, and closed my eyes.

"You taking another nap, buddy?" Matt asked.

Keeping my eyes closed, I answered him, "Just a little. My head's been killing me."

"I have a pill for headaches, if you want one." Juliet offered.

That's when I opened my eyes and caught Matt raising an eyebrow at her.

"They always come in handy...especially when you're best friends with someone like Maddison." She had a small, sly smile.

Maddie gaped at her, "I am not that much of a handful!"

"You seem more than a handful." Matt snickered.
