I stayed the night at Alex's again, no surprise. It's almost time for me and Alex to get up for school and it's weird because I wake myself up now, usually that would be Alex's job but he seems so distant lately. I mean he would normally give a fuck about us making it to class on time. He's such a goodie goodie it's cute.

I get up and walk down the hall to Alex's room, I peek in and Alex's bed looks like it hasn't been touched. He must have fell asleep down stairs. I close Alex's bedroom door and begin making my way down the stairs, I stop at the couch and see that I was right. Alex was asleep on the couch, he looks so adorable when he sleeps I thought to myself. I don't wanna wake him but if I don't we'll be late and Alex seemed like he'd die if he missed the practice test Ms. Smith was giving us. I lightly removed the book that Alex fall asleep with, he just turned to his side still asleep.

"Lex?" I shook him lightly, "It's time to wake up."

"Shh, no it isn't." Alex muffled into his arm. I laughed, "Yeah it is, so get up. Come on, you're gonna miss Ms. Smith's test."

Alex shot up and looked at me, "What time is it?"

"It's time to get the fuck up." I replied. Alex gave me a look, "No really Jack, what time is it?"

"8:20. Class starts in like 10 minutes."

"Fuck!" Alex got up and paced a bit around the coffee table.

"What are you doing?" I asked, Alex stopped pacing.

"What am I doing?! What the fuck are you doing?!?! Get ready lets go." Alex said before putting his shoes on and stuffing his books into a bag. "Hurry Jack, we don't have time. Just put on your shoes and spray some hairspray on that bitch and let's go." Alex grabbed his car keys and hurried out to his car.

I heard him honk and I just grabbed my shoes and ran out the door.

"Hurry up, let's go!" Alex yelled.

I got in the car and before I could even close the door, Alex pulled out of the driveway.

"What the fuck Lex?!" I yelled at him as I finally got the car door closed.

Alex pulls into the school's parking lot, into his usual parking spot and gets out of the car and runs inside, leaving the car running. I sighed before turning off the car and getting out, "Dammit Alex."

I walked inside and saw Alex digging through his locker as if he'd die if he didn't find whatever he was looking for, I walked up to him, "Here's your keys." I said holding out his keys for him to take, "What are you looking for?"

Alex said nothing as he snatched his keys from me and slammed his locker then walked away.

"Good fucking luck." I said quietly as I watched Alex walk down the hall then into Ms. Smith's class.

I opened my locker and got my things, I felt someone tap my shoulder and turned around.

"Hey Jack, how are you today?" Jenny smiled at me.

"I-I'm fine, and you?" I smiled back awkwardly.

Jenny giggled lightly, "Just fine? Why just fine?"

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"I mean, someone like you Jack... you seem so carefree and full of life, I'd aspect you to be more than just fine." I just smiled and looked down, she has no idea but okay I'll admit I did blush for a slight second.

"I could say the same about you." I said back still smiling, Jenny's smile grew and I could've sworn that she blushed there for a second too.

"Well Jack you've got me all wrong then. I mean I wish I was as carefree and full of life." She giggled.
