When they were kids, Cassie Rella and Luke Jacobson were practically inseparable.
However, after Cassie moves away from their small town in California, contact is lost and their friendship is forgotten. She's surrounded by the big cities and skyscrapers while he stays behind with his family's land and siblings.
But nearly seven years later, the Rellas move back to Brookville, and Cassie's not sure if things can be the same as they were when they were 10; with Luke, or life in general.
This story is inspired by the music video for Taylor Swift's "Everything Has Changed" with Ed Sheeran (but this is NOT a Taylor Swift nor Ed Sheeran fanfic).
Each 'then' chapter is meant to describe a scene in the video. Therefore, the ideas of those chapters are not mine, but the telling of it is.
These chapters will also be a lot shorter than the others, simply because I can't stretch a 10-second scene into a 10-page chapter.
Saying this, each "then" chapter is like a flashback to events that happened when they were children, while the "now" chapters are the present day. Some of them might parallel, but mostly they're just there to show what happened before and what their relationship was like.
Enjoy!

Author's Note (added 23-9-2016):
One of my hopes for this story in the future is to add some plot to the 'then' chapters. Currently they are essentially just narrations of the music video, but I hope to be able to add some extra story line into them later!!!
