Ch 7: Sister?

"Well lets stop being so sentimental for a second get down to business." I say as Nate looks towards the girls.
"Could i actually have a quick moment alone with Dakota?" Nate asks Amber and Caitlan as they get up and leave to meet up with the boys.

"Whats up?" I say as his face starts to drop.
"Well i was making my way down here and then i got a phone call from a random number. Anyway i pulled over and decided to answer it"
"Wow you pulled over. You've changed Mr Nate." I say with a smirk on my face.
"Yeah i know, lucky i did because when i answered it there was a women on the other side."
"A women huh? How unusual." I say in a sarcastic tone.
"Shut up, I'm trying to tell you something here." Nate says as his face turns serious which i haven't seen him do in years.
"Ok I'm sorry. Continue."
"Well this women was claiming she was my sister."

Nate is an old friend of mine. He has to be one of the most big headed, hot, charming, bad boy i know. He has been through a lot with his mum and dad dying in a car crash when he was 8 so he had to grow up with one of his dads mates who worked with the rodeos. Thats how we met and we have been best friends ever since. We know everything there is to know about each other.

"What?" I say as he sits down on my hospital bed.
"Yeah i know. I don't know what to do. She is visiting the area and she wants to meet up."
"Well if you're asking me to answer whether or not you should she this so called sister of yours i think you should. Honestly what have you got to loose?" I say as i place my hand gently on his arm.

"I guess you have a point." Nate says as he gives me a slight smile.
"You know i do. Whats her name?" I say as he grabs his phone from his back pocket.
"Her name is Eden."
"Pretty name." I say with a smile.
"Yeah but she wont be in town till 3 days."
"So you were going to ask if you can stay at mine?"
"Yeah you know me to well." Nate says with a grin.
"Well you're in luck because we have one room left and it has officially been taken by you." I say as he gives me a hug and he leaves the room so the doctor can come back in.

I go to get comfortable as Julie walks in and smiles.
"Why are you getting to so comfy Miss Gordon?" Doctor Julie says.
"Well doc i am a bit tired because i did go head to hoof with a stallion."
I say with a smart voice.
"Since i know your record you are most probably going to sneak out like you always do so get up and you can head home." Julie says as she gives me a wink and walks out of the room.

"Yay! Im out of this place and i didn't have to sneak out this time." I say yo myself as i close the door and rip off the paper thin gown and i start to get dressed.

I have my underwear and bra on as out of nowhere Mitch busts through the door and doesn't even take a glance at me as he slams the door behind him and quickly peaks out of the little window on the door.
"Mitch! What are you doing?!" I say as i fall over in fright this my jeans around my ankles.

"I say someone i used to know and i seriously don't want to talk to them." Mitch says as he keeps looking out the window.

"Ok so whatever you do please do NOT turn around." I say as i try to pick myself up.

"Why not?" Mitch says as he turns around with a smile and as soon as he sees me the smile on his face turn to a blush and raised eyebrows.

"Do you not know what don't turn around means?!" I say as i swiftly pull up my jeans and grab my jacket to cover my bra and stomach.

"Im sorry it one of those things that just happen like don't look know but there is a person over there, of course the persons going to look!" Mitch says as he quickly turns around and starts walk back and forth.

"Its ok it was only my bra and underwear. Lucky i wasn't naked." I say as slip on my t-shirt.

"Yeah true. By the way nice black bra and underwear." Mitch says as he gives a little giggle.

"Look if you say anything with the the word black, lace or anything in that direction your dead." I say as i start to pack and Mitch turns around and walks in my direction.

"You know a women doesn't wear stuff like that especially black unless she wants to someone to see them." Mitch says with a grin as i chuck the bag over my shoulder and we stare at each other with fury in my eyes as he gives a sly grin.

"Shut up or your going to wake up missing your family jewels." I say as i walk out of the room and make my way down to the waiting room.

"So Dakota, you and Nate are going in the car you came down in which is Amber's and the rest of us going in my car." Caitlan says as everyone gives me a hug.

"Guys I'm fine seriously hugs aren't needed." I say as Caitlan, Damon, Amber and Travis start to walk out to the car and Nate and i stand there as Mitch comes down the hallway.

"Are you ready slow poke?" I say as he grabs the keys on of his pocket and looks at me with raised eyebrows.

"I think you should be a little nicer to my Little Miss Dakota." Mitch says as Nate looks at me with confusion as bite my lip in anger.

"Fine but i don't think you should gamble this way with your two pride and joys." I say as we all walk out of the hospital.
