Ch 26: Psycho or Insane

Caitlan's POV

I walk out to the party and feel my stomach sink. I look at the crowd from the top of the staircase and i see Ace talking to the guy how owns this place. His name was Jake or James or...... Something like that.

"You must be Nikki." A man dressed up with a purple tie and purples mask says as we passes me a drink.

"I am but who's asking?" I say cautiously.

"Oh I'm a friend of Ace's and he wanted me to make sure you're alright."

"Alright well I'm fine. It was nice to meet you but i really like this song." I say as i hand him back the drink he gave me as he gives me a slight wink.

"Go for it Nikki, was a pleasure meeting you."

I walk off as quick as i can and push through the crowd till i reach the middle.

I look around and see everyone enjoying themselves like crazy, its actually really refreshing even though i don't know if these people know me or if they're somehow related to me.

"Caitlan?!" I hear someone yell.

Just as i hear that, two couples come running towards me. They seem like they think they know me, oh crap what the hell do i do?

"Caitlan how the hell did you get here?" One of the girls say, she's kind of short, has black hair and is wearing a long black dress with a dark purple waist belt.

"Are you speaking to me?" I ask as they look at me like I've had to much to drink.

"Uh yeah of course we are. Are you feeling ok Chooka?" A girl with blondish hair wearing a longish red dress.

"Chooka?" I ask as they all just stand and look at me.

"You're heads bleeding a little Cate, lets take you home." She says as she grabs my hand.

"Ace!" I yell as he is suddenly by my side.

"What are you doing here?" Ace asks as he pushes the girl off of me and stares at the two blokes.

"Ace, well if you must know we were invited." One of the blokes say as he takes a few steps towards him in an angry way.

"Who invited you Damon?" Ace says as he slowly pulls me back.

"My cousin who owns this place." The other bloke says as he steps forward with the other guy who I'm guessing is Damon.

"What is you're name and what are you doing talking to my fiancé?" Ace says as his voice changes to a husky and angry tone.

"Well his name is Mitch and Caitlan is not your fiancé." The girl with blondish hair says as she barges Damon and tries to go for Ace.

"Her name is Nikki and you would want to careful or something may happen and you might get hurt sweetheart." Ace snaps at her.

"Her name is Amber not sweetheart and talk to her like that again and i will pound your face in." Damon says as he gets up in Damon's face.

"Mate, step back because you don't know what your'e getting into." Ace says as he steps really close to Damon, so close that their shoes are nearly touching.

"I'm what you would call psycho or insane. In other words I'm no match for you."  He whispers loudly into Damon's ear.

"Oh after what you did to Travis, I'm pretty sure my anger trumps your insanity." Damon says as he stares right into Ace's green eyes.

"Whats going on here Ace?" John comes in and everyone stands down.

"Nothing important." Ace replies.

"Wait you know this guy?" Mitch asks John.

"Yeah he works for me, he handles and takes care of the arsenal."

Damon storms outside and Mitch death stares...... J-John, and Ace as he runs after them and the girls follow. That's right, his name was John.

"Ace what just happened?" John says sternly.

"Just reuniting with some old friends." Ace says as he walks off.

"Are you ok?" John asks me in concern.

"Yeah but do you know who this Caitlan chick is, apparently a friend of your cousins or something." I say as John shakes his head.

"Sorry i haven't seen my cousin in a few years so i would have no idea but i could kind out for you if it's important to you." John says as he smiles.

"Umm i might be ok but if you do get the chance that would be good." I says as he just nods.

Dakota's POV

"Can you come and help me get him out of the car?" I ask Nate as we arrive at home with Travis passed out on the back seats.

"Sure, just go and open the door and i will carry him." Nate says as i go and open the door and Nate walks in with Travis in his arms and places him on the lounge.

"Should he try to wake him up?" Nate asks as he stands with his arms folded.

"Oh yeah, i really want to do this." I says as i slap his face as hard as i can to the point where my hand actually feels like i touched a red hot iron.

Travis jumps to a sitting position with his hand on his face from the pain.

"Bloody hell Dakota!" He yells as he looks up at me.

"Oh don't bloody hell me Travis! You have a few questions to answer like why the hell were you poisoned, who the hell poisoned you and what have they done to Caitlan?!" I say as he places his head in his hands.

"Dakota, calm down." Nate says as he places a hand on my shoulder.

"Don't touch me right now." I say simply and Nate looks at me with a confused look on his face.

"Dakota he was just poisoned, show some consideration before you start interrogating him." Nate says as he turns my body towards him.

"You don't know what I'm going through right now and you don't know what it's like to lose someone you love so back off!" I yell and as soon as those words left my mouth i immediately regret it.

"Well actually i do and you know that i do. Not only have i lost someone but they were my family so don't tell me i don't know how it feels to lose someone you love." Nate says as he walks past me and out of the house.

"Well that just happened." Travis says as he sits there with wide eyes.
