Ch 30: Bucko?

Dakota's POV

Bang Bang Bang!

My body jumps in surprise as i leap out of bed and look on the ground to see Nate half asleep.

"Nate, get up." I say as i lightly kick him in the side.

"Why should i?" He asks as i open my bedroom door to see Eden and Mitch rubbing their eyes and walking downstairs followed by Damon who is already dressed in camo pants with a black singlet and carrying amber who is still out cold with her mouth wide open, her hair in a mess and in her nighty.

"Come on you two, you have exactly 5 minutes to get dressed." Damon says as Nate and i nod in response.

I quickly chuck on my camo pants and black t shirt and Nate just looks at me and laughs.

"Trying to be twins are you?" He says as he chucks on his jeans and dirty white top.

"Haha very funny." I say as i walk past him and put my hair up in a high pony.

"I thought is was." Nate says as he kisses me on the cheek and i just smile as i walk out of the room.

Nate and i both walk downstairs and notice everyone standing in the lounge room.

Mitch is standing next to Eden in his old faded jeans and grey shirt, Eden is wearing an AC/DC shirt with a grey pair of sweatpants and Travis is wearing a white singlet with black pants.

"Is everyone ready?" Travis asks as Amber looks up at his with squinted eyes.

"Do i look ready to you bucko?" Amber says as she throws her hands in the air like a complete idiot.

"Bucko?" Travis asks with a raised eyebrow.

"Shh, its early and i haven't had anything to wake me up so just shh." Amber says as she violently places her hand over his lips with little effort and she then crashes on the lounge.

"Uh huh.... Well everyone else lets break up and get sorted." Travis says as everyone instantly groups to the people they are with.

"Dakota, could you just wait for me while i help sort people out?" Travis asks me as i nod and sit down on the lounge.

"Nate, come with me and we will get you started with me." Damon says to Nate as they leave and Travis quickly leaves the room with his phone.

"So what just happened?" I ask Eden and Mitch.

"Uh he was saying how he isn't the best at techy stuff and then he smiled and left with his phone in his hand." Eden says as we all look in the direction he went.

"Hmm alright then." I say with a raised eyebrow.

Travis walks back in with a smile on his face and points at Mitch and Eden.

"I just got you guys two of my mates that are willing to help out with the techy side and the undercover side." Travis says as Eden and Mitch smile and nod.

"Alright, they will be here in around 20 minutes." He says as he grabs some boxing gloves, a chain and then smiles at me.

"Ok so boxing I'm ok with but the chain is a little confusing." I say as he just chuckles and the chains rattle in his hand.

"Just come on." Travis says as i get up and follow him.

"By the way guys, your first assignment is to wake up sleeping beauty right there and get her dressed before my friends come." Travis says as he points at Amber who is passed put on the couch.

"Really?" Eden says as she rolls her eyes and they get straight to work.

"Good luck." I say as Travis and I walk outside and i see Nate and Damon training a few 100 metres away from where it looks like Travis and i are supposed to be training.

Damon and Nate are both holding hand guns while aiming at this piece of paper that has a the outline of a head on it.

"Ok so after you load the gun, aim and shoot. I will go first and then you." Damon says to Nate as Travis and i walk past.

Damon pulls the trigger and the bullet goes straight through the middle of the head on the piece of paper which is around 20 metres away from them.

"Ok so you have a go." Damon says as Nate lifts his gun up and aims.

Nate pulls the trigger and the bullet hits the upper left corner of the paper.

"Ok, so you hit the paper thats good. Lets start the real work now i know where your at." Damon says as Nate nods.

"Ok so if i see you looking at them while we are doing our training, i will knock you flat on your back." Travis says as i laugh but he looks at me with a deadly serious face.

"Im not joking." He says as we reach our destination.

We are in the middle of this paddock that has lovely green and soft grass, obviously for my landing.

"So lets see where your at shall we?" Travis says as he drops everything.

"Bring it on, just take it a little easy." I say as i see him take his ground.

"Oh no, there are going to be people that are going to go tougher then me so you might as well get used to it." Travis says as i take my ground the best i could.

"Ok so no hitting as if yet. I will allow some kicking but basically just try and get me on the ground." Travis says as he looks me up and down and smiles.

"What are you smiling at?" I say as he just looks at me.

"This is going to be fun."
