Ch 18: I will take your family jewels while you are sleeping

Dakota's POV

I'm cuddled up under a bed sheet on a mattress as soft as a cloud along with a pillow equally soft. I felt like i was in heaven but i open my eyes and suddenly feel like the devil.

"Hello beautiful." Nate says with a deep morning voice as he places his arm around me.

"Oh crap." I say as i quickly sit up and see my jeans on the back of the lounge and Nate without a shirt but still in jeans.

"Are you ok?" Nate ask as i start to rap the sheet around my Calvin Klein underwear.

"Undecided. I will know after you answer a question for me." I say as Nate turns to his side and just smiles as he runs his fingers through his messy bed hair.

"And what question would that be?"

"We didn't do anything last night did we?" I say as i look around and notice really how beautiful this place is especially with the morning sun shining through the open farm window.

"Well if you count you getting drunk, tripping down the steps and passing out while I'm carrying back up the stairs then putting you into bed then yes." Nate says as he gets out of bed revealing his rippling back muscles s he scratches his neck.

"Ok but why am i only I'm my underwear and singlet?"

"Oh you did that yourself." Nate says as he throws my jeans at me.

I pull the sheet over my head and with great difficulty and great wriggling around put on my jeans.

"You know for my first sleep in that bed it was pretty great." Nate says as i pop my head out from under the sheet.

"Yeah actually. I slept like a baby but that also could have been because of the boos." I say as Nate just looks at me and smiles.

"You know i wouldn't mind if this happened more." He says as he slowly walks over to me.

"It would be nice." I say as Nate sits on the bed next to me.

"Well i would love to." Nate says as he looks deep into my eyes.

He starts to lean towards me and do the same. Our lips become dangerously close and Nate places he hand on the back of my neck, drawing me closer. As he goes kiss me we both stop as we hear my phone going off like crazy all of a sudden.

"Huh wow good timing." He says as i playfully punch him in the arm which was filled with firm muscles.

"Yeah i know. Where is my phone?" I say as i look dramatically threw the top level.

"That i do not know." He says as he gets up and we both start looking and suddenly it stops ringing.

"Seriously." I say as Nate and i just look at each other.

As Nate and i are just about to give up my phone starts to go off again.

Nate and i listen and follow where its coming from. We both walk down the steps and follow the sound which leads up to Dream's stable.

"Oh crap i cant look." I say as Nate takes a look and sees Dream just standing still and staring down into his food bucket which contained my phone covered in chaff.

"Its alive!" Nate exclaim as he picks it up and hands me my lovely chaff filled phone.

"Oh wow. There is 200 messages and 30 missed calls from Caitlan." I say as i quickly dial her number as Nate looses it and laughs uncontrollably which makes me laugh so as Caitlan picks up the phone she is greeted by me laughing.

"Dakota i hope you think this is funny because when you get your butt home I'm going to knock the head straight off of your shoulders and you-" Caitlan yells as Nate and i quickly snap into serious mode.

"Im fine. I was just with Nate." I say as cut Caitlan off halfway through here huge speech.

"Do you dare start with him. No one in this house had a goodnight sleep and i mean no one!"

"Calm down. Im an adult you know, i can handle myself." I say as i can just tell that Caitlan's veins are gonna be popping when i see her.

"Get home now." Caitlan says in a calmer voice but its just the calm before the storm.

"Wow what a great convo." Nate says as he starts to saddle up Kobe.

"What are you doing?" I say as i start to saddle up Dream.

"Its not all your fault, i was actually quite a big part in this so we are team. Im going to take everyones wrath with you." Nate says as i just smile and we both continue to saddle up.

We arrive back at the house after galloping the whole way here. Nate and i head straight to the stables to just tie the horses up and as we walk to the house Caitlan busts out the door followed by everyone else.

Caitlan looks at me in fury and roughly punches my shoulder. The impact was seriously hard and i look back at Caitlan.

She smiles and grabs me, pulling me into a tight hug.

"Whoa who are you and what have you done with Caitlan?" I say as she lets me go and sees Nate.

She walks up to him and slaps his face so loud that you could hear it echo.

"If you do anything like that again i will take your family jewels while you are sleeping." Nate looks at me with the most afraid and confused look i gave ever seen.

"Ok ok. Everyones fine and no ones hurt except maybe Nate's ego but he's a big boy so how about breakfast?" Amber says with a smile as Damon grabs her around the waist and hugs her tightly.

"Alright. Just as long as bucko stays away from me." Caitlan says as she storms away from Nate.

Nate just looks at me with still the same scared and confused look. I walk up to him and there is this perfectly shaped hand print across the left side of his face.

"Calm down. She might be Caitlan but we have alot of peace keepers in the house especially when Caitlan and i start our regular fights."
