Ch 20: Sorry for cock-blocking

Travis' POV

"Hurry up, I'm starving." I say as i sit in the back seat.

"Look we are going as fast as we can." Damon says as he sits in the passenger seat with his feet on the dash.

"We? There is no we im the one who is driving here." Mitch says with a fake laugh.

"Well drive faster. Its the country, there wouldn't be cops out here in the middle of nowhere." Damon says as Mitch tales a quick scan of the empty paddocks and then long straight road.

"If anything happens to Caitlan's car i will deck you." I say Mitch slams his foot on the execrator and i am forced to sit back in my seat.

Amber's POV

I walk downstairs in my blue denim shorts and tight black t-shirt. I come to the kitchen where Nate and Dakota just finish cleaning up and Nate suddenly grabs her hips.

"Um thats not your property Nate." I say as i turn on the kettle and sit at the kitchen table.

"Well not yet." He says as he cocks his eyebrow at me.

"I don't like you." I say as he just smiles and walks up stairs but not after looking Dakota up and down.

"And watch those eyes of yours!" I yell as i hear the a door shut.

I look at the kettle as it turns off with steam coming from the top of it as grab a cup and a tea bag.

"So we really haven't had time to talk about what happened last night, wink wink nudge nudge. " I say as i pour the boiling water into my purrfectly catty cup which purrs when you first pour the water in it.

"Well there isn't much to tell." She says with a suspicious smile.

"Bull. Nate doesn't just go from being a brother to someone grabbing your love handles without something happening."

"We just had a great night filled with laughs and just us being us."

"Was there some woohooing?"

"Amber!" She say as she chucks a dirty cloth in the sink.

"What? Its a completely normal question?"

"No. No there wasn't any woohooing." She says as she goes upstairs into her room and shuts the door behind her.

"I was only asking." I say to myself.

Dakota's POV

As i walk into my room and shut the door behind me i collapse face first onto my bed.

"Well that was hot." I hear a very familiar voice say as i jump in surprise.

"What are you doing in here Nate?" I say with a tired tone.

"I was just seeing if you still have the rose" He says as he picks up the same red box with a silver ribbon that he gave me.

"Im surprised you kept it." He continues as he reaches in the box and pulls out the rose and the lite card he gave me also.

"Its a good memento." I say as he just smiles and lets out a small chuckle.

"You know i think Eden would appreciate you spending some time with her since you are her brother." I continue as he slowly walks over to me as i sit up on my bed.

"Yeah but right now I'm busy." He says as he places his hand on the back of my neck but i quickly tackle him to the floor before he could place his perfectly carved lips on me.

We both land on the ground with a thud and i lay flat on him with my arm stuck under him.

"Well not exactly what i was expecting but hey i will take it." Nate says with a painful tone.

"This is all your getting so enjoy it while you can." I say as i try to move my arm but it is not even budging because of the combined weight of Nate and i together.

"Nate?" Nate and i both look at the door which is wide open with Eden standing there with a huge smile on her face.

"Um hey Eden. What can i do for you?" Nate asks as he chucks his arm behind his head and just smiles as i stuggle to get my arm back.

"Its not what it looks like i swear." I say as I'm trying desperately to get my arm back while Nate lays there effortlessly, not giving me any chance to get my arm back.

"But maybe it is." He says with a grin.

"I'm just going to ignore this situation and cut straight to the point otherwise I'm going to forget why i came here." Eden says as Nate nods in agreement.

"Ok so Mitch just texted me asking if i wanted to go on a dare with him and well i asked him if another couple could come along like a double date thing so is it ok if you two could come along." Eden says as she gives us a huge smile.

"Well i don't know about Nate and i but I'm pretty sure Amber and Damon might like to go." I say as Nate  looks at me and stares at me.

"Ok but if you change your mind just tell me." Eden says as she exits the room and shuts my door behind her.

"Oh and sorry for cock-blocking bro." We hear the muffled of Eden through the door.

"Apology accepted." Nate yells back and i just roll my eyes and continue to try and get my arm back.

"Can i have my arm back now?" I ask as Nate looks at the roof.

"I don't know. Maybe if you do a little something for me."

"And what will that be?" I say as my stomach sinks.

"Well you could give me a kiss, sleep at mine again tonight or i would even accept a romantic swim down at the rock pool you guys swam at the other day." Nate says with a smile.

"Fine i will do something just give me back my arm." I say as he rolls over and my it feels as light as air as the weight of our bodies are lifted off.

Well now i have to figure out what I'm doing.
