Marley POV
"No, she's like my little sister," my heart stings a little, Meg called not even five minutes after the picture went up. Gavin tried taking it down but once something is on the internet, you can't take it off. I would know.
To get my mind off everything, I join Geoff in the kitchen. "Can I help with anything?" He turns to look at me and nods.
"Yeah, can you peel those potatoes?" He points his head in the direction of the potato bag on the counter. I dump the bag in the bowl he set out and boost myself to sit on the counter with the bowl in my lap.
"Geoff?" He turns towards me, he looks hurt. He opens his mouth to say something, but instantly closes it and turns back to the turkey. I look down and pick up another potato to start peeling.
"Just tell me," he turns towards me again, "did it mean anything?" I feel my heart stop.
"I-" a hesitation breaks through my voice.
"Don't even finish that sentence. Don't tell me you're sorry. I invited you out here to meet me, to give me a chance to show you friendship, and maybe some affection. Obviously, you just came out here to mess with my feelings." He turned away from me. I put the bowl aside and hop off the counter.
"I'm so sorry." I wrap my arms around his rib cage, hugging him from the back. "We were trying to hurry and I am not a fast runner, or a runner at all. He was just trying to help." He turns around and I bury my face in his chest, his arms don't wrap around me. He holds onto the counter, his knuckles white.
"Okay," his voice, distant feeling. My eyes sting, I let go of him and go back to peeling potatoes.

Geoff POV
Me and Marley sit at the table, Gavin left to Meg's an hour ago. Marley is staring at her potatoes, pressing her fork into them over and over making little boxes. Before I open my mouth to apologize, she leaves the table and walks to the room. Anger builds up in my chest and I slam my hand on the table. I go to the freezer and pull out my bottle of whiskey, not worrying about grabbing a glass I take a large swig. I put the bottle down on the counter and wipe my face with my hands.
I stumble into the room, her cheeks are stained with tears. She is packing her bags.
"My flight is tomorrow." She doesn't even look up at me.
"I thought you were leaving on Sunday." I sit on the bed.
"I-" she hesitates, "I got called in to work on Saturday."
"No, you're lying through your teeth," the anger builds up again.
"Believe what you want Geoff," she huffs and I leave the room slamming the door shut. I grab the closest thing, which happens to be an empty vase, and throw it against the wall. I put on my jacket and slam the door on my way out. I walk to the 24/7 gym.

Gavin POV
Marley is in the kitchen cleaning up when I get home. I ask her where Geoff is and she shrugs her shoulders. I sit down on the couch and turn on the TV and Gamecube.
"Wanna play Mario Kart with me?" I ask Marley, who sits on the love seat. She nods her head and I notice her somber face, "are you okay?"
"I made Geoff mad," She pulls her hair back into a bun. I raise my eyebrows at her. "I know, I know. He does have a temper, but he can also be the sweetest person you'd ever meet." She grabs the controller on the table and we pick characters and our cars. "I'm leaving tomorrow." She spits out.
"No, you can't do that! You haven't had a taste of the Austin life!" I look at her.
"I can't change the flight again, it costs me a fortune." She rubs the side of her face with her hand.
"Then let me, give him one more chance." It sucks that I am rooting this girl to stay with Geoff, but they really like each other and I have Meg. "He likes you, I can tell. He hasn't been this happy before."
"I don't know." She blushes.
"I do, I am changing your flight back to Sunday. Give him another chance." I put my arm over her shoulder and pull her in for a hug.
"Are you f****** s******* me?!" Geoff yells in the room, "I leave to go drain my anger and you leap into Gavin's arms?" He looks at me and practically spits my name.
"No! Gavin told me he is changing my flight back to Sunday." Marley jumps off the couch and holds Geoff's face to look at her.
"Like I told Meg, I see her as a sister. Geoff, mate, she is crazy about you." My heart sinks but I don't let it show. "She told me that she made you mad and how she changed her flight time and she wanted to switch it back, but she doesn't have the money to."
[Marley POV]
"Geoff, I want you. I promise. Please believe us. I was just giving him a hug to thank him." Geoff's expression softens and he looks at me.
"You're staying?" He smiles a little.
"Yes, just until Sunday." I smile at him. He kisses my cheek and I pull him to the bedroom. "i'm tired. I'll play Mario Kart with you tomorrow Gav, okay?" He nods his head and smiles at me.
"Night you two!" He winks and I can't help but stick out my tongue.
"Wait I gotta clean up the mess I made earlier." Geoff stops in his tracks.
"I already took care of that," I pull him to the bed, he sits down. I sit facing him on his lap and I unzip his jacket. His lips connect to mine and he takes his button up off of my arms, leaving me in my white tank-top. I push him down on the bed and kiss him once more. Laughter bursts through me as I roll off of him and lay in bed leaving him frustrated.
"You aren't getting away with that Marley." Geoff lays next to me and kisses my neck wrapping his arms around my waist. His arms leave for a moment and he hands me his shirt. "My girl sleeps in my shirt."
"Yes sir," I stick my tongue out at him.
"Hmm, sir. I like that." He smiles at me. I playfully push him.
"Shut up and cover your eyes so I can change."
