I barely slept last night, I was scared Byron would come into my room. He offered me a ride to school, but I'd honestly rather die than ride in a car with him. I stand at my locker looking at the books for my four classes waiting for the warning bell to ring.

"Your name is Marley right?" A kid from my forensics class taps on my shoulder, I turn around to a tall football player. I raise my eyebrow, confused. "Walt," he says and I turn back to my locker, grabbing my English book.

"Uh, yeah." I close my locker knowing the bell is ringing soon. I start walking to my first class and he follows behind me.

"I saw that picture of you," he pulls my arm making my English book fall on the ground. He bends down and picks it up for me, "the one of you and Gavin Free." He says quietly so that only I could hear.

"Oh, yeah. He's just a good friend of mine." I smile and continue walking to my class.

"Are you...like, is he cheating with you?" He pushes his brown hair out of his face with his fingers. His olive tone skin making his grey eyes look green, I shake my head and laugh.

"No, uh, we're just like brother and sister. He's one of my best friends, and Meg's cool. I wouldn't ruin what they have going, I don't see him like that." And even in that moment, my heart was completely set on Geoff. We reach my first class and he waves as the warning bell rings, running off to his class.

I get into class, going to my usual seat in the back corner. I look at the students filing into the room, taking their seats. I notice the girls swoon over Garret when he walks into the room, but he doesn't notice when he locks eyes with mine. I break the eye contact reaching down into my bag to get my computer, when the envelope falls onto the tile floor.

"Who's that?" Lily, one of my ex-best friends points down at a picture of Geoff and I in front of the shark tank at the Aquarium. Geoff is kissing my cheek, his arms wrapped around my waist. He held me as close as he could to his body, he was facing towards the sea snakes.

"Uh, no one." I pick up the photos and envelope, carefully placing them back in my bag. Lily turned towards me checking to make sure Mr. Osborne wasn't looking.

"Obviously he is someone," she smiles at me. She was my best friend up until tenth grade, she knew how to make me spill my secrets. She was the first person who knew about my mom. But, things have changed.

"It's really no one important to you," I say pushing the hair out of my face. I pull out my phone and I have no messages from Geoff, I actually haven't had any messages from him all morning. Weird.

I don't have work today, meaning I can lounge around my house for the rest of the day. I go up to my room and change into my sweats and pull out Geoff's favorite plain black tee. Loading up a Let's Play video I go downstairs and grab some chips. A knock on the front door startles me, no one ever comes to the front door except the UPS man.

I open up the door and my jaw almost drops to the floor.

"Hey baby," Geoff picks me up into a hug. My legs wrap around his waist and he kisses my shoulder and neck. "I told you I missed you, and I did. I left like sometime last night, and I drove not even stopping once. Well I stopped for gas, food, and to piss.

"You're crazy," I kiss his cheek as I step down to the floor.

"Crazy for you," He winks before grabbing my cheeks, pulling my lips to his.

"You know my dad is going to flip because I have a guy in the house right? He won't let you stay here." I say closing the door behind him.

"Yeah, I figured. I am staying in a hotel room down the road." He smiles at me and pulls me into him. "It feels so great to have my baby girl in my arms, kinda sad she won't be sleeping in them." He pouts his lip at me.

"Don't even try, Ramsey." I shake my head at him and kiss his pout.

"I missed this, and I missed you," Geoff kisses my forehead.
