*Marley POV*

I sit down on the couch and try to erase what just happened. I hate that Gavin won't even talk to me right now. I scroll through Facebook on my phone, all these pregnancy announcements and engagement announcements.

"God, I'm glad I'm not pregnant right now," I mumble to myself. I change my profile picture to my favorite one of Geoff and I, I'm mad cheesin' and he is kissing my cheek. I lean back on the couch and lock my phone, ignoring the message notification. I already know who is constantly blowing up my phone.

Gavin enters the room and sit on the chair furthest from the couch, where I sat. "I'm going to the store to get some groceries since we all eat totally different things, wanna come?" He shakes his head, averting his eyes away from me. I get up and pull on his arm, like a child during a tantrum. "Pretty please? Please, please, please, please, please. What if I can't reach what I need 'cause it's on the top shelf? Please Gavin." He looks at me with a smile.

"Fine, I'll go," he stands up and I pull him into a hug. We both head for the door and I grab my wallet and my keys, he gets into the passenger side and I get into my drivers seat.

"Geoff is way taller than me, the seat is so far back I can barely reach the pedals and I can't even see over the dash. I am never letting him drive my truck again." Gavin laughs in the passenger seat as I adjust.

"You know you aren't supposed to sit right on the wheel right? Also, you can adjust the pedals to come forward to you," he smiles at me. I roll my eyes and push the button to extend my pedals.

"They are already extended all the way, Gavino," I stick my tongue out and start the car, backing out of the driveway. "Try being short as me and driving, then tell me that I am 'not supposed to sit right on the wheel'," I mocked his accent. I laugh when I see him sneer at me from the corner of my eye.

I pulled into the Wal-Mart parking lot and found the first available spot near the front. I don't have to have the best spot I don't even mind parking in the back, but I found a spot near the front. I put my truck in park and get out of the car, Gavin following. I put my phone in my pocket and keep a tight grip on my wallet.

"Why don't you have a purse like every normal girl?" Gavin questions, jogging up to my quick pace. I look at him and furrow my eyebrows.

"Because I am not like 'every normal girl', duh," I nudge him playfully in his side. He chuckles and my eyes widen, "you are ticklish! Gavin Free is ticklish!" I yell in the parking lot and run inside the store.

"I am not ticklish," he smiles at me, and grabs a cart. I pull up my shopping list on my phone:

-Tampons

- Milk

- Chips

- Ice Cream

-Chocolate

- Mac and cheese

- Dino-nuggets

- Frozen Fries

I head over to the toiletries isle, Gavin following behind. I find the tampons and toss a box in the cart, crossing it from my list. Gavin and I walk to the grocery side of the store and start from the back, grabbing the milk, then going through isle and isle slowly crossing off an item on the list.

"Okay, brownies or chocolate cake?" I ask Gavin for the fifth time. He won't give me a straight answer, and I can't make up my mind and I don't want to buy both.

"Fine, chocolate cake," he starts pushing the cart and I throw the brownie box in. "But I said chocolate cake," he looks at me confused.

"I know, I just didn't know which I wanted until you said chocolate cake, and I don't even like chocolate ca-" I stop thinking I hear my name being called. I look around, but I don't see anyone.

"You're weird," Gavin walks to the next isle, I follow behind him, crossing off my list.

"Marley!?" I feel a tap on my shoulder, I turn on my heel.

"Oh, hey Walt?" I look at him confused. He has a big smile on his face and I am so confused why he is so happy to see me. "Why are you in Austin?" I ask, peeping down the isle at Gavin. He doesn't even realize I am not behind him.

"Winter break, I have family here." I nod my head and he wraps an arm around my waist pulling me into a hug. I tense. "Sorry," he mumbles, looking down at his shoes. "I heard you moved here, I didn't think I would see you though." He softly chuckles. "How is early graduation? How is your new school? Life? Anything?" He smiles at me. His white teeth really shine in contrast against his skin.

"Everything is good, really good," I smile at him, his eyes widen as he glances over my shoulder.

"Marley, I'd love to get going," Gavin stands behind me, "oh, who's your new friend?" Gavin waves at Walt.

"Gavin, Walt. Walt, Gavin," they both shake hands. "Walt is a big Rooster Teeth fan." Gavin smiles at him and it looks like Walt's heart melts.

"Nice to meet you, exchange numbers with Marley and I can schedule like a meet and greet or something, but we have to hurry home." Gavin heads down to the frozen isles and Walt hands me his phone, I put in my number and wave good-bye as I catch up to Gavin.

"I've been wondering where you guys were?" Geoff comes outside to help us with the bags.

"Just needed to get a few things," I walk inside with most of the bags. Gavin runs inside and goes to the bathroom.

"He's weird," I look at Geoff as he closes the door. He hurries over to me and pulls me into his arms.

"I missed my girl," I can't help but blush as he kisses my cheek.

"I've missed you too, but I gotta put these away. Help?" I pout my bottom lip. He nods and helps me put everything away.
