I sigh and follow my friends to the large tabel filled with all the pack members sitting down drooling over the food.
I sit down next to Ted and Meg as they talk I rest my head on my hand.
'mate' My wolf kept saying. 'mate, mate, mate'
'wolf! Shut up.'
'no! We need mate!' My wolf screams at me. I can hear her sobbing.
'wolf, please don't cry. We'll find him.'
She doesn't answer back.
I let out a sigh and look around.
The aplha starts to talk. "Welcome all my fellow pack members! I would like to announce, my daughter, katie has found her mate!"
I look around at everyone. Most of the people were rolling they're eyes and some shouted 'yay' in a sarcastic voice.
The people who didn't know how evil katie was cheered.
"Where is she?" A voice I didn't recognize spoke out loud.
"She's taking a walk with him." He replied.
"Now everyone! Eat!" He shouts and sits back down.
Everyone starts choosing food and pouring it on they're plates and shoving it down they're throats. I swear, no one chewed.
I finally thought about my parents. Where are they!? I look around and saw my mom and dad together eating by the alpha. I sigh and look at my empty plate. Meg looks at me, "whats wrong? Why aren't you eating?" I look up at her, "uh.. Didn't know what to get."
She stares at me for awhile trying to sence any proof of lies but finds nothing, so she goes back to eating.
I get some potatoes and chicken and shoved a spoon full of potato in my mouth and slowly chewed.
I started thinking about my mate. What will he look like? Is he cute? Will he love me?
I look around and notice people leaving.
"Hey mia! Wanna go swimming?" Ted asks me holding onto megs hand.
"oh shit.. I forgot my bikini!" I say slapping my head.
"i got you one girl!" Meg says pulling out a red bikini.
I smile and laugh to myself at how well she knows me.
I grab the bikini and go to the bathroom and change. Meg was done way sooner. We both walk to the pool and sit on the edge with our feet in the water splashing around
We talk about guys until we hear a low growl.
we both knew who it was. Ted

"WHY ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT OTHER GUYS?!"
Meg laughs and kisses his cheek. His eyes go back from being black to the normal ocean blue and she rubs his chest as he sits down.
"God ted, calm down. It's not like meg would leave you." I say with
Sarcasim. He rolls his eyes. "Once you meet your mate, you'll know how I feel," he says looking down at me.
I roll my eyes and mutter 'yeah right' under my breath.
Meg and ted were kissing and you don't know, how awkward I felt.
I got up and walked around the house and sit down and think until.. The smell.. It was back! My wolf howled in excitment. 'MATE!' She screams 'MUST FIND MATE!' She repets. I look around to see if I can find anyone.
Nope... I sniff around. The smell was stronger from the west in the forest. I took off my bikini and tied it to my leg and shifted to wolf form.
'must.. Must.. Find.. Mate..' My wolf kept saying.
I started running faster as the smell became stronger.
I crouch behind a bush as I hear people talking. I hide my scent and look at the two people. I low growl exscapes my wolf lips and I dig my nails into the ground. I get so mad at what I see.
That bitch katie with MY MATE. MINE NOT HERS MINE! I growl and this time, it wasn't quiet.
"Who's there?!" I hear a male voice. I shutter at his voice. It's so sexy.
I hear them whisper and someone change into wolf form. My heart starts pounding.
'I'm fucked...' I thought to myself
I slowly start to move back until I step on a twig. I feel something run and knock me to the ground. I get up like nothing happened and when I look up, I see a dark black wolf with yellow eyes pearing at me. I turn and run to the hills. I run so fast I didn't know if I was touching the ground.
I keep running until I turned around. Big mistake. I run into something thick and hairy. I look up and see the wolf. The dark black one showing his teeth. "SHIFT!" I hear him shout. "SHIFT NOW!"
He wasn't part of our pack but I knew he was an alpha his alpha tone didn't work on me. byt it was best to listen.
I shifted looking at the ground. Until the thought crossed my mind. I was naked I look up and see the wolf staring at me. Shock in his eyes. I take the close off my leg and put it on. Not much. It was my bikini.
After I see him shift. He was my mate. He had green eyes with brown hair and a muscular body coated with a beautiful tan. He puts a shirt on and walks toward me. I freeze staring at him.
My heart starts pounding faster every step he takes. After what seemed like hours, he was in front of me. I looked down at the ground.
He lifts my chin up so I could meet his gaze. Sparks flew and the place he touched was tingiling. He moved so his lips were in front of mine, just inches away. He whisperd "mate". I replied "mate".
Then, a twig snapped behind us and we both shifted and went running. We ran together for hours. I started to get tired and stopped running. Knowing I was safe with him around. I stayed wolf form and walked over to a puddle and drank a little.
I could feel his eyes watching me . I walked back and lied under a tree. It cold tonight.
I shivered as the wind blew threw my fur. then, I felt warmth next to me. I opened my eyes and mate laying next to me. I cuddled up closer to him and soon.
Darkness over came me, and I slept.
