Mia's pov;
I wake up after the operation, I was woozy from the stuff they gave me. I look up and look around, no one was in here. I listen closely and can hear the breathing of my mate. 'Josh..' I link him. I could feel his heart jump with joy.
A few seconds later the door slowly opens and in comes josh and Blake. A huge grin appears on his face when he sees me, "Mia.. Are you okay?" He asks with concern. I smile and nod. Just then someone knocked on the door, "Hello Alpha josh, hello Luna Mia." She says with a bow. Josh looks at her, "How is she? Did you get the tumor out?" He asks taking a step closer to me. She fixes the tag on her shirt, "Yes. The operation was a success." Josh breaths a sigh of relief, she smiles, "but, the tumor spread all the way to her eggs. We had to remove about 99% of them." What?! My eggs?! That means.. I won't be able to have a baby... Tears start to form in my eyes, no. No don't cry. We still have Blake and he will make an amazing alpha.
I could feel josh hurting. He wanted more children and a stupid tumor took it all away.. It was silent in the room for a couple minutes until doctor Ashley cleared her throat. "Luna, can I check your stomach?" She asks. I nod, I couldn't speak. If I did my voice would crack. She comes by me and presses on my stomach. It was sore but since I have beta blood in me, it didn't hurt too bad after all it was healing. She lifts my hospital shirt a little. "Well, you seem to be healing just nicely. There don't seem to be anymore problems." Relief washed all over me.
Josh was still silent. Wait.. He.. He was proposing to me! I look at josh, his eyes slowly rise up from the ground, "um, doctor can we have a moment?" I ask. She nods and quickly leaves taking Blake with her. I turn and look at josh, grinning like a maniac. "You were proposing?" I ask raising an eyebrow. He chuckles, "Yes, but you never answered." I adjust myself in the bed. "Ask again." I say with conference. He chuckles and gets down on one knee, "Mia, my beautiful mate. You mean everything to me, at first I didn't think that starting a pack would be a success, but with you by my side; anything can be. You're so perfect you match me in every right way. I'm so glad the moon goddess put us together, it wasn't a mistake that's for sure. We already have a son, and even though we can't have anymore doesn't change anything. I will love you the same way if we could. I know everyone in the pack are dying to know when we'll tie the knot and you most importantly," he puts his hand in his jacket and pulls out the same black box and opens it, containing my ring. "Will you do the pack and I a favor and just marry me?" Tears form in my eyes, "Yes!" I shout his eyes light up as he engulfs me in a big hug. He showers me with kisses all over my body as he slips the ring on my finger. It looked beautiful.
