Mia's pov;
I stand there in disbelief. My son was mated to the daughter of the women I hated with all my heart? I look up and stare at the dark blue sky. "Why Moon goddess, why?" Josh walks stands in front of Lilly and I, protecting us. "Blake, get inside now." He orders. "What? Why?"
"I said NOW." Blake whimpers in defeat and starts walking to the house with his head down. I squint my eyes at jasmine. Eww she did look like her mother, the same blonde hair and blue eyes. Jasmine stands there staring at us. Not moving, not making a sound. She probably knew if she made the wrong move josh would decapitate her. We have a stand off for minutes, until Lilly breaks the silence with a high pitched cry. Digging in my pocket with my free hand I look at the time, 9:35pm. Damn it, I missed her dinner by two hours. 'I gotta go feed her.' Josh gives me a stern nod keeping his eye on jasmine. I give her a disgusted look and walk inside.
After feeding the baby I put her in her room and tuck her in, playing her lullaby as I walk over to the window I could see some pack warriors taking Jasmine inside. Josh stands out there holding onto his head. He looks up at the window probably feeling my eyes on him. He gives me a weak smile as his soft grey eyes stare up at me. I smile back and lock the window good.
Slowly walking out of her room to not disturb her dreams I shut the door with a quiet 'click'. Turning around I see josh sitting on the bed, his body in a slumped way as he uses his hands to rub his eyes. "Oh Mia... What am I going to do?" He asks. I sigh and walk over to him. "I don't know.." I sit down next to him and lay my head on his shoulder. "What are you doing with her?" I ask while kissing his neck. He gives me a soft moan then snaps back into his thoughts. "She'll stay in the dungeon tonight." I nod and kiss his cheek. "Don't stress honey, you'll end up dead." Josh chuckles and walks into the bathroom. "I'm gonna take a shower." I bite my lip and stare at his body. His blue skin tight shirt was sticking to his body, showing every muscle and enhancing the abs. "Would you like to join me?" He asks while raising an eye brow. I huff under my breathe. "Your as cocky as you were when we first met." I whisper. He chuckles, "is that a no?" I roll my eyes. "I'll be in there soon..." He laughs and walks into the bathroom. I sigh and walk in with him.
Only way for him to win me over is with his body. Other then that, I'm the boss.
Jasmine pov;
"Let me out!" I shout, my voice echoing in the empty room. "I demand to speak to Alpha Josh!" There was a chuckle from the two guards who brought me in here. I growl in frustration and sit on the bottom bunk bed. This is bull shit! My moms gonna be wondering where I am! I hear the dungeon door open with a creek and the steps of a women. Lifting my head in the air I sniff the scent of Luna Mia. She stands there and gives me a weak smile. She was in a pink robe and her long black hair wet. "What do you want?" I ask sounding like a little upset girl. "To talk to you, and you do not speak like that to me. I am Luna here, and our pack is in the second most powerful pack in the world." I roll my eyes and nod. "Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know." She growls. "Okay okay! Sorry. What do you wanna talk to me about?" I ask.
"Your mother." She simply says. I narrow my eyes. "What about my mom?" The Luna sighs and orders a Guard to get her a chair. Once he comes back with the chair she sits down and stares at the floor biting her nails. "Do you know what she did to us?" I shake my head. "No, what did she do.." I ask. She sighs like she's mentally preparing herself. "Your mother was the future Luna of the- well, it's an old pack. It was taken over doesn't matter. But, she was gonna be Luna but... Um, okay My mate, Alpha josh was sold to her by his father to be her mate. To make a long story short, I took my mate back started to make this pack. She ambushed us, we killed her took over her pack which is now ours, well, a mix I guess and she was raised from the dead by I think Josh's ex best friend." I stare at her and burst into laugher. "Yeah right! Like my mom would do that." I say shaking my head. She stares at me with a straight face. "It's true." I stare at her back and start laughing. "Hahaha! No it's not! Wow, I knew alpha josh was evil, but I didn't know his mate has a liar!" She growls and naws at the bars on the steel door separating us. "Woah, woah, woah! Calm down!" I shout backing up to the concrete wall. Her eyes turn black as she breaks one bar. "Stop! Please!" I shout. After seconds she completely breaks the door into shreds. She stood there and stared at me. Walking closer and closer. "No! Please, please, I'm begging you don't hurt me!" I whimper slowly sliding down the dirty wall. She growled, this is it. I'm gonna die..
"LET ME GO!" I hear Mia shouting. Opening my eyes I look up. It was Blake, my mate. He pushed his own mother against the wall and was guarding me with his body. "No! I don't care how much you hate my mate; you will NOT hurt her!" I shiver in the corner and dig my face into the wall. God help me...
After minutes of them arguing Mia finally leaves leaving my mate and I. "Hey? Jasmine? Are you okay?" I hear him ask. I turn around and face him. He wasn't wearing a shirt, his solid muscles dripping with sweat made my mouth water. "Uh huh.." I whisper mesmerizes at his muscles. "Um, up here.." He says. I quickly look up and blush. "Oh.. Yeah sorry.." Blake nods. "No problem. But.. Mate?" He asks. I stare into his green eyes. "Yeah?" I ask. He smiles and pecks my lips. "I won't be able to sleep without you.." He whispers. Looking at his lips I swallow the lump in my throat. "Either will I.." He chuckles and runs his thumb on my lips. "I already love you.." I look up at him in shock. "Really?" I ask as my hope grows stronger. He nods. "Really really." I grin and hug him holding onto his muscular back. "I already love you too.." I felt his arms wrap around my waist and push me closer to his body.
Wait.. My mother already mated me to someone else..
Oh, no.
I let go of him and swallow again. "Blake there's something I need to tell you.." I whisper. "Okay, tell me." I open my mouth to say it, until I heard Alpha Josh's voice. "Go to your room Blake. Now." His stern voice echoing. Blake gives me a sorrowful look and walks out of the cage and out of the dungeon. "Guards, put her in a new cell. And get some Omegles to fix this one." He orders. "Yes Alpha." Both of them say in unison. They grab me by my arms and lead me to the cell next to me. Once the new cell is locked Alpha Josh stands outside of the cage.
"Stay away from Blake until this is all sorted out." His words were like a knife in my heart, every one, two, oh whatever! How many words they were. They all felt like different knives stabbing into me and crushing my hopes. He walks out of the dungeon.
I lay on the bed and pull the smelly grey blanket over my body. I hope I'll be able to see my mate.. He made my knees go weak..
Blake's pov;
I stare silently at the ceiling, touching the empty space next to me. I won't be able to sleep without my mate. I need her. Tears start falling down my face. Why? Why does her mother have to be Katie?!
Josh's pov;
I slowly walk back to our room and open the door. Mia was laying in bed biting her nails. "Hey, don't do that. Soon you won't have any nails." She laughs a little and puts her hands down. I take my shirt and pants off and leaving my boxers on and climb into bed. "Do you think he'll be able to sleep without her? She asks. I sigh and shake my head. "No.. But it's just one night. He can make through it." Mia nods slowly and lays her head on my chest. "I'm glad I can sleep with my mate tonight.." She whispers. I raise an eye brow. "And why is that?" She smiles and rubs her pointer finger on my chest and brings her soft lips to my ear. "I'm in heat.." I smile and turn to her. "I love those three words.."
