"What the fuck?" he exclaimed, again.

I felt my face heat up. I couldn't even look  at his face. I could hear laughter in the background.

"Shut up. It's not funny." He hissed and the laughter increased.

He growled and I looked up to see the most handsome guy I have ever seen. He was really tall maybe 6 feet and I barely came up to his shoulders. He had dark hair and from what I could see was very muscular. His skin was olive toned and I was right, he was ripped from head to toe. His sexy bow shaped full lips were pressed into a thin line and His hard black eyes were shooting daggers at me.

I blushed some more. Before I could apologize he yelled at me, "Are you blind? Even wearing those huge spectacles you have trouble seeing. Just because you're a girl doesn't mean it's okay to spill your drink on someone else and don't even apologize for it. Keep that attitude at home."

I felt tears prick my eyes. What a jerk. I was going to apologize to him if he would let me speak. Nobody had spoken to me like this, ever.

"Let it go Abhi. She didn't do it on purpose. It was a mistake." One of his friends said, soothingly.

He turned back to his friend and said, "Let it go? Why should I? Just because she's good looking, I should just ignore this. Girls like her are so stuck up. Have you noticed she still hasn't apologized."

Diya saw the unshed tears in my eyes and got angry. Before she could start a fight I said in a small voice, "I'm sorry."  with my voice cracking in the end. He stiffened and turned around.

Something flashed in his eyes as he looked at me. I looked away, wiping the tears from the corner of my eyes and pulled Diya along.

"Hey." I heard him call out.

We didn't turn around and disappeared into the crowd.

"What an asshole." I said.

"Why did you stop me? That jerk made you cry. I would have made him cry and apologize to you in return." Diya said, fuming.

I hugged her and said, "Thank you. I know you are capable of making guys cry, but chodo (leave). It's done."

She was frowning at me.

"What now?" I asked.

"That was such a waste of cold coffee." She said, still frowning.

I started laughing and pulled her to some of the empty seats. Luckily Diya had saved our food.

Diya stopped eating midway and grinned at me.

"Why are grinning at me like a fool. Finish your food. Is something stuck in my teeth?'' I asked.

"No. but, did you notice the color of that guy's shirt?'' She asked, still grinning.

I remembered vaguely and my face colored tomato red.

"He was wearing a blue shirt and he called you good looking. He was hot, Ana. Maybe he is the one..." she said, winking at me and resumed eating.

"Oh god. Are you serious? That was just some stupid dream. Things like that don't happen in real life." I said, rolling my eyes.

"You never know." She said.

I just shook my head at her. It's not him. I mean that guy looked like a Greek God. He wouldn't fall for me. Besides he thought I was some stuck up bitch. Nah. It's not him.

It was almost a month since that day in the mall, but, still that guy plagued my thoughts. I shook my head and concentrated on my Test. Thinking about him would not help me pass this test. I needed to think about chemical structures. I groaned. I should have studied yesterday. I looked up to see Diya in the same state as me. She was already looking at me and we both grinned at each other. She looked towards the door, indicating that we should leave. I looked at my watch, it had only been half hour since the test began, and I widened my eyes at her. She just rolled her eyes and turned back. I saw Afreen writing furiously and Abhay copying from her. At the back Sam, Harsh and Harshad had a book open under the table and cheating. Chavi and Sanjana were copying from Meghana. All in all the whole class was cheating. The teacher turned a blind eye to all this. I think she just wanted students to pass in her test. Diya looked at me again and begged with her eyes to ditch this shit. If we left now we would have around an hour and half to enjoy. I nodded and both of us got up. The whole class of 85 students looked at us in shock. We both coolly went to the table kept our papers and walked out, while the teacher was looking at us in disapproval. We grabbed our bags and made our way to the gate.

While climbing down the stairs I asked, "What to do now?"

"Let's go eat ice cream." She said.

I nodded. We didn't have anything else to do anyways.

We decided to go to polar bear. It was quite near to our college. We were chatting happily about this and that when Diya suddenly put on the brakes and my head hit her helmet.

"Oww." I exclaimed. I saw that we were near polar bear(ice cream parlor) and Diya was about to park when suddenly a bike had come in our way.

Diya parked the scooter and we both got down. She was fuming.

"Can't you see? I don't know who the hell gives the driving license to you people when you don't even know how to drive." Diya yelled.

I saw that the guy had also parked and was looking at Diya rant in amusement. He was young, looked to be around mid-twenties. He was good looking, with a muscular body. He had dark hair which fell on his brown eyes occasionally. I looked at him, trying to figure out where I had seen him before. Diya was still yelling at him and he was taking it like a gentleman, waiting for her to finish. I grabbed her hand to make her stop.

She turned to me angrily and said "What?"

At this the man grinned. Holy fuck he has dimples. He looked hot.

I shook my head and said, "We are fine, na. Chuck it. Let's go."

"Your friend is right. I'm really sorry. I'm glad both of you are unhurt." He said, in a deep voice, looking at Diya.

Diya finally registered his looks and blushed.

"It's okay I guess. But make sure it doesn't happen again. It doesn't matter if you don't care about getting hurt, but others could get hurt because of you." Diya said, sternly.

He looked at her curiously and flashed a smile and said, "I will keep that in mind."

We turned to go to polar bear. I saw him giving me a peculiar look. Did he recognize me too? I was sure I had seen him somewhere.

As we were about to enter the ice cream parlor he called out, "Hey mind if I Join you guys. I was actually waiting for someone, but I got ditched. The least I can do is buy you guys ice cream."

He was looking at Diya hopefully. I knew Diya was going to refuse. Before she could say anything I said, "sure."

He beamed at me and made his way towards us.

Diya looked at me in shock. I never do something like this. I don't talk to strangers or to new people. I still get surprised that Diya is friends with me because we are complete opposites. She is an extrovert and can have a conversation with any random person while I'm shy and awkward around new people. So for me to agree for that guy to join us was shocking to her.
