Diya didn't talk to me about Abhi since the conversation we had last week. I was glad about it, but a part of me wanted her to push me in his direction. I became busy with College for me to dwell on it.

The whole of my class was chosen as volunteers for a National Conference that was going to be held in our college,  in two months time. Since, we were the seniors, the whole control for planning it,  was given to us. Everyone was pretty excited. I was also chosen to give a presentation in the Conference,  which was a huge opportunity for me. All in all we were going to be very busy for the next two months.

"Are you done with that?" Sanjana asked.

Diya was using the scissors. She looked up at her and said, "No. I still need to finish the poster. I think there are many scissors here,  other than this one."

Afreen and I suppressed our smiles when Sanjana walked away,  angrily.

"That girl gets on my nerves." Diya said, with a huff.

"Ugghhh. Ignore her. Let's finish this and go. It's already 7" Afreen said.

All of us, Afreen, Diya, Harsh, Sam, Harshad, Chavi, Meghana  Sanjana and I were busy since the afternoon in making the posters for the Conference. We all were having so much fun,  that we didn't realize that it was so late.

"Come on, guys. Let's go. We can  complete it tomorrow." Sam said.

By the time we cleared and locked up the lab, it was 8 in the evening.

"I'm so screwed."Afreen said.

"Tell you got stuck in traffic." Diya said.

"By the time I reach home, it's going to be 10. My dad will skin me alive."Afreen whined.

"Yeah,  tell you got stuck in traffic or do you want me to drop you home? It would be faster." Sam said, concerned.

He was a major asshole most of the time but, at times like this he showed his sweet side.

"No no. I'll go. that's okay." Afreen said .

She then said her goodbyes and hurried  towards the bus stop.

Slowly,  everyone left and it was only Diya, Harsh, Sam and I.  Diya and I were ready to go by bus but, both the guys refused to let us go in a bus at this time and it was decided that they would drop us home.

It started raining lightly around the time we left.  I was with Harsh and we broke into a light conversation. I put my Stole around my head to protect myself from the rain. We were at  a Stop light,  when I felt a prickle at the back of my neck and felt eyes on me. Diya and Sam were on my right and as I looked at them, she raised her eyebrows asking me what was wrong? I shook my head and frantically searched for those eyes on me and because of the rain and traffic I couldn't find them.

"What's wrong?" Harsh asked, noting my discomfort.

"Nothing." I mumbled. All of sudden, I just wanted to get off,  of his bike. I felt like I was doing something wrong sitting on his bike with him, like I was betraying someone. Strange.

Diya and I were sitting in my living room and having our breakfast. She had come to pick me up for college and was coerced by my mother to have breakfast which resulted in us missing our first hour.

"Do we have to go today?'' I asked her.

"No. Don't do that. We did the same thing last week. You ask me if its important to go today and I tell you that we have plenty of attendance and the classes are not important and we end up not going." She complained.

I grinned at her .

"No. not happening." She said, firmly.

"Fine. Let's go. We will have to sit in classes till 5 today and the bonus is,  we get to see Sanjana's face till that time and listen to her crib and bitch about other people." I said, slyly.

Diya cringed at that and tentatively said, "You know, you're right. Today's classes are not important at all. We have missed the first hour,  anyways."

I looked at her and we both started laughing.

I told my mom that were not going to college today and like an awesome mother, she didn't yell at us for not attending classes.

We decided to go for a movie.

"Let's go for Conjuring." Diya said.

"Uh huh. Not happening. Let's go for Chennai Express." I said.

She made a face but relented to my choice since,  she knew the scared cat I am.

We called Afreen too, but, she was too scared to bunk our Chemistry HOD's Class.

I was in a white colored sleeveless kurti with red and black squares,  with my hair in  a side fish tail plait and Diya was in an orange and Blue salwar with her hair in a french plait.  We were dressed for college already so, we just put on lip gloss and left for the mall.

We both turned quite a few heads at the mall and I smirked,  knowing that we were looking good. We got into the long  line for tickets.

I felt the prickles on my neck when, '' Diya!!!" Some one called out, while we were still in the line.

I turned around to see Dev and to my dismay,  his brother walking towards us. They were still far away from us when I hissed at Diya, "I can't believe you did this to me."

"I swear, Ana.  I didn't call them here." Diya pleaded.

"Than how the hell are they here?  It can't be a coincidence." I said, irritated.

Diya then looked at me guiltily, "I did mention it to Dev that we were coming here for a movie,  today morning. I'm so sorry, Ana. I didn't expect him to show up like this. "

"Well, tell them we are not watching a movie with them." I hissed angrily.

I was thinking that I made a huge mistake by not going to College today.
