I couldn't believe it. It was the same guy on whom I had spilled coffee and who had been a jerk to me. He was looking at me with an expression I didn't understand.
"You did recognize me that day, didn't you?" I asked, Dev.
Dev nervously ran his fingers through his hair and said, "I did. But I also knew that if I had told you, you guys wouldn't have spoken to me."
"You are right. We wouldn't have." I said coldly and turned to leave.
"Hey hey wait. I'm really sorry I didn't tell you. I didn't think we would meet again or so soon. My brother was a jerk to you and has been moping about it since that day." he said.
I looked behind him to his brother, who was now glaring at Dev.
"Yeah. I'm sure he felt sorry for that." I said, sarcastically.
At that he looked at me and I couldn't look away. His eyes bore into mine and I felt pulled towards him. We both had unconsciously moved towards each other and were standing only a couple of feet away. I heard someone (Dev) clear their throat behind me and shook my head. I looked at the man standing in front of me and blushed. He was truly handsome. He was actually looking more handsome than when I had last seen him, if that was even possible. Dev came and stood beside his brother. They were almost of the same height. Seriously, both of them were amazing to look at. I'm sure they are the reasons of many heartbreaks.
Dev flashed his dimples at me and said, "This is my brother Abhimanyu."
I just nodded at him, unable to speak. Then I looked at Dev and mumbled, "I have to go. Bye." I left without looking at Abhimanyu and I blushed when I heard him sigh.

"OMG, Really." Afreen exclaimed.
"Shhhhhh." I said. Diya, Afreen and I were sitting in the canteen, away from our group of friends. I was filling them in on what had happened the previous day. I saw Meghana looking at us curiously. I just ignored her and continued, "Yeah, Affu. Even I couldn't believe it. I told you guys remember, that I had seen Dev before. He should have told us."
"OMG, I cant believe that you didn't speak to him and was just standing there dumbstruck." Afreen said, laughing.
"Shut up." I grumbled. I was already embarrassed about it. Diya was really quiet during my rant and was now looking at me guiltily.
I narrowed my eyes at her and said, "Don't tell me you knew about it?"
"Okay. I won't." She mumbled, with guilt.
"Woah. how did you get to know?" Afreen asked.
"Well, you guys know that I'm friends with Dev on Facebook. I lied to you guys when I said I just chat with him occasionally. I kinda chat with him everyday." Diya said, not looking at us.
Afreen and I exchanged looks.
"What the fuck. Why didn't you tell us?" I asked, in a small voice. I was hurt that she would actually lie to me.
"I'm sorry. I didn't want to get judged. I like talking to him. After a few days of chatting with him, he told me everything." she said.
"Wow." Afreen said. I still hadn't said anything. Diya begged me with her eyes to understand and I sighed. I couldn't stay mad at her for long.
"Fine. whatever. it's not like we will meet him again." I said.
"Um. about that. I'm not sure we are not meeting them again." Diya said, sheepishly.
"What did you do?" I asked her scared.
"Well, Dev wanted to go for a movie. All the four of us." she said.
"What?" I screamed at her.
"No no no. Don"t worry. I didn't say yes.... yet." Diya grinned at me.
I growled at her, "No fucking way , I'm going for a movie with them. Besides, don't you have a boyfriend?"
"I am going out with friends, not with another guy. Don't you want to know more about Abimanyu?"she asked, teasingly.
"No." I said stubbornly and then groaned, "Fine. Tell me."
Afreen and Diya started laughing. Diya started, "He is Dev's younger brother. He is 22 years old and is in his final year of MBA and the most importantly he is single."
At this we all started giggling.
"What's going on?" Sam asked. We were in our own world and didn't notice him coming towards us.
"Nothing." The three of us said together.
He looked at us suspiciously and turned to Diya, "You really won't tell me?" he asked her with puppy dog eyes.
"It's girl talk, babe." She said, smiling at his childish antics.
Afreen's phone rang and a huge smile adorned her face when she looked at the screen. She answered the call and moved away from us to talk. I knew it must be her long time boyfriend, Farhan. They had been together for quite some time now. Though they were from the same religion, their families wouldn't accept their relationship. Afreen's dad was really strict and was waiting for her to finish studies so that he can marry her off. There was 1% chance of both of them being together and they were risking everything for their love.
