Meeting Felix and Marzia

I'm twelve years old and I have lived in a children's home for as long as I can remember. I've lived with a few different families but never really got on with them. Today I'm meeting the next couple who are interested in adopting me.

"Are you ready, Ellie?" The social worker asked me. I nodded and we entered the office. A blonde haired man and a light brown haired woman, with waist long hair, were sitting on the sofa. They both stood up to greet me. "Hi, my names Marzia and this is Felix. It's nice to meet you!' Said the long haired woman. She was so pretty and she looked quite young too.
"Hi, Ellie. It's nice to meet you." Felix said. We shook hands and took a seat on the sofa.
"So, Ellie," The social worker said. "You are going to go with Felix and Marzia to the park. Is that ok?"
"Yeah, yeah. That's fine." I replied. I was sick of going out with different families.

The social worker waved us off as we walked down the drive of the children's home.
"So, Ellie," Felix started. "Do you have any hobbies?"
"Uh, yeah, I guess. I like playing video games."
"No kidding! My job is to play video games!"
"Oh, that's cool."

There was nothing much going on at the park. There was a set of swings and an ice cream stall.
"Hey, Ellie, would you like an ice cream?" Marzia asked me.
"Sure. Can I have vanilla please?"

Me and Marzia sat on the swings eating our ice creams while Felix sat on a bench looking at the scenery. Marzia told me about their jobs and how they make YouTube videos. They seemed like a really nice couple, different from previous trips out I've had. Felix said he'd show me his games collection some time, that sounded really cool.
