I woke up from Marzia bouncing my bed up and down with her hands. "Wake up! Wake up! Its time for your extra special Marzia Makeover!"
"Okay, okay! I'm getting up!" I giggled at her enthusiasm and jumped out of bed. I took a shower and Marzia blow dried my hair into soft curls.
"I will take you to the hairdressers after I've done your makeup. You need a trim!" Marzia exclaimed.
We had breakfast and then she took me to her room to do my makeup. She did an amazing job. It was minimal but it made me look ten times nicer. I had soft pink lipstick with a thin coat of lipgloss. My eyes had a flick of eyeliner, mascara and a subtle brown eyeshadow on my eyelids. My skin looked flawless. All of the blemishes we covered with one of Marzia's high end foundations and she topped it off with a little bit of pink blush.
We left the house to the hairdressing salon that was down the road. Marzia took the hairdresser to one side and started to whisper to him. He kept nodding in agreement. When they came back, the hairdresser took my hair and began to cut off the dead ends. He then began to put extensions in and I looked up at Marzia, unsure about what he was doing.
"It's ok! Don't worry!" She smiled at me.
I sighed and decided to close my eyes and just open them when he's finished.
Surprisingly, when I opened my eyes I looked like a different person. With my makeup and new, long, thick, wavy blonde hair I actually looked pretty. I stared at myself in disbelief. Marzia patted me on the shoulder and said "What did I tell you? You are pretty... you just hadn't realised it." I turned around and hugged her tight.
"Thankyou!" I whispered. "Thanks." I said to the hairdresser.
We went shopping for clothes next. We want to Miss Selfridge and Forever 21. Marzia picked out my clothes again and they were amazing! From Miss Selfridge, I got some black ankle boots and silver jewellery. From Forever 21 I got a purple peplum top and black leggings.
When we got home, Felix was in the living room watching TV. Me and Marzia walked in and Felix said "Wow! You look so different! You look really nice!"
"Thanks Felix." I said shyly. I looked at Marzia and she pulled me into a big hug.
"Awww, Ellie! You are so beautiful!"
"Thankyou, Marzia. I feel like a new person."
"It's ok baby! My friends are coming over next week, this is your chance to show off your new look!" Marzia was excited already.
