Adopted by Felix and Marzia

New Life

The following week, me and Marzia went shopping to the nearest shopping centre. She picked out loads of clothes for me, quite expensive ones, and made me try them all on. I have to say, she was super good at picking out clothes! Everything was gorgeous and she bought it all for me. I've never had real nice clothes before. They've all just been hand-me-down jumpers and jeans from the older children in care. Now I own dresses, skirts, leggings, boots, cardigans... the lot! Marzia also got a few things for herself that were really pretty.

When we got home, we unpacked all of the new clothes and hung them up in my new dressing room. I honestly felt like a princess! She hugged me and gave me a quick peck on the lips and skipped out of the room.

I found Felix editing one of his new videos in his office. "Hey, how's it goin'?"

"Good thanks, I just got a load of new clothes! What are you doing?"

"Editing videos for YouTube and looking at some new games. I think I might get these three." He pointed them out to me. One of them was a Barbie game. I burst out laughing.

"Why Barbie, Felix?" I asked, still laughing.

"Oh, my Bro's asked me to play it!" He was laughing too.

Later on, I helped Marzia cook dinner. We made pancakes, my favourite! It was so much fun! We were both pathetic at flipping them but Marzia made them look really pretty with icing sugar and strawberries. They were so delicious! I had strawberries and melted chocolate on mine and Felix and Marzia both had banana and strawberries on theirs.

Me, Felix and Marzia were all playing Mario Cart on our Nintendo 3DS'. Felix kept falling off everything, it was so funny, me and Marzia were in stitches!

I love my new family.
