I took the few cardboard boxes that held my possessions to the front of the children's home. Felix and Marzia were waiting in the car while I said my goodbyes to all of the staff and children. I hopped into the backseat with my boxes and we drove away. It took about half an hour to get to their house. They said that it was new and that they moved here from Italy.

When we pulled up to the drive, my mouth dropped. "This is your house?"

"This is our house, remember you live here too!" Marzia reminded me. It was beautiful! We drove down the drive that was surrounded by cherry blossom trees and pulled up outside the country mansion. "Are you joking me?" I asked in confusion.

Felix laughed "No, no! It isn't as big as it looks, trust me." He took my boxes and Marzia held my hand as we walked up to the front door. The inside of the house was amazing. It seemed like quite and old house but decorated in furniture that looked like it was from a Next show room.

"Do you want to see your new room?" Marzia asked me kindly. We made our way up the beautiful wooden staircase and she lead me down the hall, naming rooms as we went. She finally got to my door. "This is it!" She squeaked in excitement. Felix was hovering behind us with my boxes, eager to see my reaction.

I stepped inside and couldn't believe my eyes. I had never had a bedroom like this! It was quite big and had a double bed facing the balcony. There was an en suit and a dressing room and the furniture was beautiful. Felix strode over to the corner of the room and patted the flat screen T.V. in the corner which had two games consoles underneath it. "I set this up for you, I thought you might like it."

"I love it! I love everything!" We all had a group hug and started to unpack my boxes.

Marzia looked at me concerned. "You only have half a box of clothes."

I looked at her puzzled. "Yes, that's all of my clothes."

Her face lightened and she was grinning a humongous smile. "We will have to go shopping!"

I laughed and carried on unpacking my games, magazines and books.

It didn't take long to unpack since I only had a few boxes but we were all shattered afterwards. Felix ordered Chinese food and we all slumped onto their extremely comfy sofa and watched 'Come Dine With Me'.

I remember my very first night at that house as clear as a crystal. I had never been so happy.
